Scam to hold your cash

Similar to other reviews, 6 months after paying for a bed head we ave been informed of another delay - I suspect this is a scam to hold cash and never deliver. I will be reporting them to the fraud office.

Insane delays ordered a pergola in December 2024!!!! Estimated delivery march 2025
Only delivered today delay of 12 months! We had ordered a drop down screen as well which arrived a few months after so couldn’t cancel delivery as would e wasted the $$$ on the screen.

Horrendous company!!!

Horrendous company!!!! From the very first delay it has been nothing but lies, went from our pergola was on its way, back to not being made yet, then finally come around to the Chinese new year excuse again (second time) pushed out to April was last “delay” I truely hope no one ever buys from them again and the company goes bust. Pure continuous lies and no remorse whatsoever. What a S#itshow!!!

Ordered furniture from Container door back in August 2025. They took payment then. Delivery promised November, then Dec, then Jan and now currently Feb. Who knows, I cancelled it this month. Have been waiting 2 weeks for the credit. numerous email, get nothing. Going to the commerce commission now

Excessive delay

My experience follows the same themes as others. Ordered a Pergola in Jan '25 and then came the repetitive delays with the last straw being a delay until estimated delivery in Jan'26. That's just not good enough. The good bits: comms consistent and timely, polite. My requested refund was actioned within the time frame they stated. I would find it difficult to go back there.

Delivery dates are a thing not understood by this company. They say this month and really they mean the day before christmas. I mean what a joke. Product is good but some notice on deliveries is a must.

No help

Delays with delivery. Lucky it wasn't urgent so not too much of a problem.

Purchases a grernhouse.
Came with terrible instructions which was very frustrating. May as well have had no instructions. No online tutorials. Took 4 days to put up. Decent wind and panels flew out.
Sorted own way to install better.
Emailed for help with assembly but no response. Was extremely difficult.

Overall the product seems good just would have been helpful to have decent assembly instructions/help.

Buyer beware!!

We ordered outdoor bar stools in March and they finally arrived late December. Like everyone else, multiple excuses for delays while they make on your money. Product is shit. We can’t even put the chairs together as the seams don’t align and are out of shape so won’t insert into holes. Broke a leg trying to force it together. Money down the drain. What a scam! Will never buy from this company again and certainly wouldn’t recommend.

Container "Don't"

[UPDATE: promised delivery for mid January just got moved to mid-late February along with all the vagueness of previous delays so absolutely no confidence they'll deliver then either. Have cancelled orders... and now hope for credits to come through]

Ordered Louvre system 8 March 2025 for delivery mid July 2025.

Just four days before scheduled delivery in July they emailed to say the order was delayed another 3 months.
It wasn't even manufactured, let alone being a shipping delay - and they advised delivery would now be October 2025.

Then it became November 2025.
Then early December 2025.
Then late December 2025.
Then mid January 2026
Then it was February 2026

They don't answer their phone
They don't call back
They take weeks to answer emails and then are vague in their responses
They never give you a straight answer
They take weeks to process credits
They have disabled reviews on their Social Media platforms
They delete ads and comments about bad service

They take your money and deliver nothing.

For "an importing & distribution company" they are useless and shouldn't be in business.

This company is beyond a scam! Purchased a pergola in Feb - due to be delivered in June, then August, then October, then November, didnt show up in December and they said .... It may be January. When I asked for a refund, they are now withholding my money and still haven't seen a refund - total Scam

Never deal with this company

This is an update on my Pergola order that I canceled after waiting over six months. I called container door and left a message to ask where my money was after 15 days waiting for it. A lady called back and said it was all good and going to be repaid on the 24th of December 2025. No surprise, nothing in my account on the 24th or Xmas Day.
I will be filing a small claims court action as soon as possible in 2026.

I regret not researching the reviews before placing my order. The negative feedbacks encapsulated my experience perfectly. No need to repeat what others have already said. There is something fundamentally wrong at this company. My advice - Go anywhere else!

Beware delivery is always delayed eg 11-12 months!

They say your delivery will be three months but they keep pushing the delivery time out. I bought a pergola last year and got all sorts of delays (6months) then ordered the drop down curtain and a louvre and they are now pushed out 11 months and 12 months, and waiting! They have your money so you are screwed!

Always pushing out their delivery dates. Just cancelled my last purchase again. For a company that says its good at importing products it really has no idea. Wont bother again and will make sure plenty people know how totally

Ordered a pergola in January 2025

Ordered a pergola in January 2025, and still waiting for it to arrive. Unbelievable how they advise you of a significant delay and then the following day continue to take the final payment out. Now 10 months since ordering and all I have is list of excuses and reasons blaming everyone except themselves. Will never be buying from them again. Avoid them at all cost!

Umbrella delivered with missing parts.
Headboard delayed by months.
And the worst one - the Luxe Pergola - ordered in March 25, for delivery July...September, November...and now January 2026!! We've built a deck for summer for this thing, and it's never coming. Cancelling immediately and hope we get our money back. Is this company going under? Something is not right...such a scam.

Don’t go near them

Pre ordered pergola in Sept 2024 with…

Pre ordered pergola in Sept 2024 with the expectation that it would arrive in time for Xmas. It then got updated for an April delivery then updated again for August delivery and again for Sept delivery. Last email was to expect it in November over a year they have been earning interest on my money that could have been sitting in a term deposit. Definitely wouldn't order though them again.
