Firstly it is a right hand opening only while you could change it to left opening it would leave the cooler door with a large hole at the top. It is a budget appliance you get what you pay for it is loud. I wish I had paid a little more and got a product I would be proud of rather than this cheap cooler. I wanted to return but Cookology put up conditions which made it difficult and lose trust. Very unlikely I would ever purchase from them again. Image shows door hinges on the right when left opening would be how it should be .
