I only used it three times so far, but on the whole I am very happy with it. In some respects it exceeds my expectations. The restriction to 4 stars is because the mains cable is almost too short to use without an extension lead. The one on my previous spin dryer was about a meter longer. The manufacturer does not seem to take into a account that in a real household rather than a workshop power sockets in a kitchen are generally above worktops. I originally doubted that a 5-minute timer would be anything other than a nuisance, as my previous dryer (also with 2,800rpm speed) did not deliver proper results in under 10 minutes. However, this one has a drum with a larger radius and the centripetal acceleration is proportional to that, so 5 minutes leave my clothes dryer than 10 minutes before. The machine also runs much more smoothly, not making a noise. A word of warning about the instructions: "Water does not flow out: Pull out the plug! Check whether the outlet spout is blocked by a piece of washing. Press the spin drum from the inside against the outer casing with your hand and remove the piece of washing." Not even a spider monkey has arms long and thin enough to be able to do that! By contrast to some dryers, including my previous one, this one also has a spout with such a shape that one would not be able to push small items to it with a stick and then fish them out through the spout. It is ESSENTIAL that nothing falls into that gap in the first place! I will no longer spin dry socks and similar small items and I recommend that other users avoid this, too.
