Fantastic course, really informative

Richie came to our Brownie unit to teach first aid to a group of 7-9 year old girls. They all really enjoyed it and got a lot of out the experience. The session was informative and age appropriate. Thanks so much, hope you'll come back and do some more sessions with our unit. Thanks.

Richie Watts the first aid instructor came to delivery basic first aid to around 150 students and staff at Lancaster & Morecambe College. Both students and staff commented afterwards on how informative the sessions were. Richie managed to cover a variety of first aid within 1 hour. If you haven't already booked Cooksons First Aid, I would highly recommend.

Richie provided First Aid and Stop the Bleed training for a group of active residents in the Withington area. He made the training fun and interactive and helped us feel more confident with administering first aid in our community.

Trainer Richie recently visited our Girlguiding Brownie unit to complete our First Aid Skills Builder badge. The session was fun, engaging and interesting and gauged appropriately for the age group involved. Richie is a credit to your team. The excitement from all the Brownies as they arrived, seeing Resus dummies waiting for them was great. Would highly recommend a session with Cookson First Aid

I’ve done First Aid Training before and although I’ve enjoyed them, Matthew Donnelly’s approach really hit home. It was direct and to the point with easy to remember techniques and new ways to use apps to help get help quicker. I know you may hear this all the time but I learned a lot in a short period of time and feel confident if the situation ever arose that I would need to put the skills I’d learned into practice, I’d be able to do it with ease and without worry.

Cookson First Aid were excellent at delivering emergency first aid and mental health first aid to our Team of young people.

We will be booking them again and also, next time, booking for 'stop the bleed'.

Had my first First Aid training session, led by Matt from Cookson First Aid.

I organised the first aid training through Bal. Bal was great and explained things, and answered my questions on the different types of training. Our session was led by Matt who was very enthusiastic and taught us a lot. I deffo left the session feeling a lot more confident. Thank you!!

This was my first taster of a first aid training session which was lead by Richie Watts from Cookson First Aid.
Richie, in my opinion provided an excellent session and I most definitely came away with valuable knowledge. It was very interesting, informative and at times we did have a laugh. I am now spurred on to continue learning more First Aid thanks to Richie. I would like to thank you for your time.

I completed the First Aid for Work, one day course today, delivered by Matthew Donnelly. Matthew is a very engaging and knowledgeable teacher who is able to deliver the content in a way that is reassuring but very thorough. Somehow, I felt I came away from this First Aid course with a greater depth of understanding of first aid, the possible scenarios I might face and with more confidence in my ability to help preserve life than in other courses I have attended in the past. It also made me reflect on how important it is for as many people as possible to have some basic first aid knowledge.

We contacted Cookson First Aid for pupil and parent First Aid sessions. They couldn’t have been more helpful, responding to my enquiry straight away. The sessions were quickly arranged at a date and time to suit us. Matt arrived on time and with fantastic practical resources. Matt was very knowledgeable and engaging when delivering these sessions to our pupils and parents alike. We would highly recommend Matt and the Cookson First Aid team if you are considering running First Aid sessions at your school.

Richie came in and did a session for our Young People at The Kings Trust, Was very informative and accessible for our cohort and they all gained valuable skills they can take on with them.
