Richie led a great day of training which was very helpful. We understood everything as we went along, learned loads and felt guided in our training both practical and theoretical. Very much recommended.

Cookson First Aid came out to train our group completely free of charge, and the session was nothing short of world-class. The training was extremely hands-on, engaging, and easy to follow, and everyone who attended left feeling more confident and prepared. Ritchie from Cookson First Aid delivered the Life Saving Infant and Baby First Aid course to our Parent and Tots group this morning. The feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive and everyone went away with new knowledge, skills and confidence of what to do in an emergency situation. Ritchie wasn't phased at all by the 18 adults and 11 babies and tots who attended the group today. He was confident, approachable and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend the course, Ritchie and Cookson First Aid.

Richie was fab! The 60 minute session provided was really useful and Richie tailored it to our group which was a mix of adults and children. We would highly recommend to anyone! Can’t wait for the accredited course in the near future. Thanks Richie and Cookson First Aid for providing such a great course!!

Students recently took part in a Restart a Heart session including other life saving skills. Richie Watts made the session really engaging from start to finish. He explained everything clearly and students got hands on practice time CPR. We would recommend these sessions to everyone, you could literally save a life after attending one.

Had First Aid training today and it was brilliant! Matt Donnelly taught us everything we could possibly want to know and answered every question so wonderfully. I feel very grateful :)

Knowledgable and friendly

We at the Ethnic Health Forum had the privilege to collaborate with Cookson First Aid in delivering a First Aid Training for the ethnic minority community ladies living within the Manchester and Salford area. The activity was a very successful one, thanks to the trainer Richie, who was very professional and respectful in delivering the training. We look forward to other collaborations in the near future.

I have now had the pleasure of meeting both Matt and Richie, Matt on a basic first aid course through my local doctors, Richie on a course I booked for my local Breathe Easy group following my experience. Both gentlemen are highly informative and professional and the passion they share to spread the basic life saving techniques is unmistakable, I have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone who cares about saving a life, possibly even their own.

The whole experience from first discussions about purchasing a defibrillator to the training courses delivered today has been superb. The assistance provided has been fantastic and Matt Donnelly has been a pleasure to deal with, engaging everyone in the informative, invaluable courses run by himself- an excellent team from start to finish! To quote Matt " we hope we never need to use it" but if we do at least we know what we are doing- Thank you.

The trainer Matthew was fantastic.
There was great communication when arranging the course and whilst the 3 days were happening.
All on the course were really positive about way it was delivered. They said it was engaging and insightful and loved that Matthew used real life experiences to get the importance across.

Thank you, Richie. Our Cadet unit at Burnley Pennine were impressed with the Mental Health First Aid training. Your friendly, approachable manner, helped them relax and you engaged them all. It was a valuable session, which will help young people understand the importance of their own mental health.

Myself and 11 other individuals undertook the Mental health First Aid course, with Matt attending our site to do so. Set over 2 days, the course was delivered with knowledge, passion and empathy, with real lived experiences being shared to help bring the content to life. Having done this course previously, this was a marked differential, to the extent that i have left this review. Thank you Matt for sharing your experiences, and helping us all qualify (100% pass rate!) as MHFA's. We look forward to working with you in the future.
