This review relates to the Auctions side of the business, not the estate agent part. I recently bought an expensive watch via their saleroom. It was well above the Royal Mail limit for insurance, and a couple of couriers quoted me very high fees for collecting and insuring it.

As a much cheaper alternative for me, Vanessa and her team went out of their way to be helpful, and at my suggestion signed up with a 3rd party insurance company to cover the extra value. This saved me over £100 on the shipping, and they didn't add any extra charge for their work in arranging that cover. That gets 5 stars, and my thanks & appreciation here.

As 1st time Buyers the process seemed scary at 1st but Sally from the Shepton Mallet branch was brilliant for us. We managed to complete in exactly 6 weeks which was amazing. Sally always kept us in the loop and was chasing solicitors for us. We felt supported throughout and even got a little goodie bag when we picked up our keys.
Would definitely recommend using them without hesitation.

I've had a great service with Shelly and Fiona, they have been exceptionally helpful and understood my needs .
If you need property or mortgage advice, I can't recommend them enough .

We went to all estates agents in frome , cooper and tanner was the best in town, abi from the frome office went above and beyond to help us fine a property.
Right up to handing over the keys and after care.

900% increase in land rent collection fees?
They now take 30% of our rental income.
£100 + vat minimum charge per transaction.
Some landlords with small bits of land will recive no rent at all!
I know costs are rising for everyone but is this justifiable ?

As a 'purchaser' (and not the Seller) I actually found Tanner and Cooper helpful and responsive during the process of purchasing a property with them in Frome.

Adam and all the team at the Frome office were brilliant dealing with the sale of our property, always helpful with good communication updating us all the way through. Also dealing with the buyers queries and the Solicitors on both sides was really helpful and very much appreciated.

Cooper and Tanner have supported us over many months on a very tricky sale. Without Shelly in particular, who single-handledy pulled three levels of the chain together, chasing both buyers and solicitors at all levels, we would have lost hope. Her communication skills and ability to get to the bottom of things have finally resulted in a succesful outcome.

We used Cooper and Tanner to sell our cottage - it was a complicated and long-winded effort managing the chain, but Adam and his team were brilliant at keeping everyone informed and as calm as possible. I was very impressed with the friendly, approachable and professional manner with which they conducted the entire proceedings and thoroughly recommend using their services to anyone considering it. They were genuinely excellent and we are very grateful for the work that they put in to get the sale over the line.

Cooper&Tanner in Frome handled the sale of our property. The whole team, and Adam in particular worked tirelessly on what was a long and complicated chain to get things moving. Really professional, knowledgeable and always helpful and cheerful. A really good service! I don’t plan on moving again but if I do it will be with these guys, they are a class act.

I have recently used Cooper and Tanners in Castle Cary to facilitate the sale of my mother’s house. Throughout the entire process Lisa and Nathan could not have been more helpful. I received immediate notification of potential buyers visits and immediate feedback afterwards and once the eventual buyer was found, both were always on hand to respond to any queries I had. I cannot praise them highly enough and would have no hesitation in recommending them to any future sellers.

The manager, Adam, is excellent-super knowledgeable & approachable. Helped us to get our house sold in a difficult market. Highly recommend: )

We had great service from the Wells branch! Lorraine and Sam were both so friendly and very easy to talk to. They really understood our needs and accommodated for that, which was amazingly helpful and for that we are very grateful.
When meeting Sam, it was clear to see he is very knowledgeable and very enthusiastic about his job, giving us real confidence in his opinions and guidance.

This is a late review as we moved in April but Cooper and Tanner our sellers estate agent proved to be excellent all through the process. Especialy Lorraine Cane on the morning of our move the removal firm we had booked let us down badly. We contacted Lorraine she took it it hand and put us in contact with Shane of Draggonfly Removals who came within the hour along with his daughter and managed our move from start to finish. Lorraine advised us throughout this difficult time. Even when having moved into our new property we found our sellers had left the place in a bit of a state dirty kitchen cupboards, holes in walls and more. She was supportive throughout and we are are more than happy to give a positive review. Many thanks Sue and Tom.

The staff at Frome / Shepton Mallet branch were wonderful. We dealt specifically with Ernie, Lauren and Shula, all were wonderfully helpful and cheery, despite my multiple emails and phonecalls regarding our new property 😁🤍 highly commend these guys they were fab!

They were always on hand to assist and guide with the sale process and went the extra mile to ensure everything went smoothly.
Their communication skills were excellent and I was always kept informed of progress.
I have no hesitation in recommending Cooper and Tanner and would certainly use their services again.

In the last 2 years or so we have bought twice and sold once with Cooper and Tanner in Frome. Adam Scott and his entire team have been really great throughout. All three transaction had complications that needed to be sorted out, especially the last one that took 6 months to complete with many twists and turns.

Adam has been so patient and energetic and on the ball, on top of the situation throughout. He builds a great rapport with both buyer and seller, which keeps the transaction going even when difficulties arise with funding and timing. The whole team were very friendly, communicative and helpful. Even when very busy with other clients, they made sure that they responded to whatever we needed very promptly.

In my experience they've also been spot on with helping to set the price of properties and we've bought and sold quite close to the asking price.

Overall, a top class team and a pleasure to deal with.

They were in contact with me all the step of the way in buying my new home, even though they were the sellers Estate Agent I was very much kept in the loop. I was made very welcome in their Castle Cary office when I had to pick up my keys, & the money had not gone through, I was made a cup of coffee & sat in the office until it had all gone through. I was given a box of chocolates & a new home card, which I thought was very touching seeing I was not their client.
