without Copernic desktop search searching so difficult specially for engineers.

I had a similar issue. I have now invested 10 hours of time trying to get the plug in for email to work. The other searches are fantastic.
The customer service is poor. Cant get a live person. They just email you back with different solutions like you are supposed to be a tech support person. They dont even include the email response to the question in their response so you as you are having difficulty as it is, trying to track the reponses in Outlook is a joke. I have never worked so hard to get emails sorted. I am going to once again spend an hour or so on a Saturday trying to fix this. My tech guy says the plug in should work without all of the work arounds. He wouldnt even get involved.

I may try NEO FIND. It's $15 instead of $39 and could do the job.

I have a mac as well and want to get a better search tool. Any help, let me know.

I've been trying to get Copernic v6 to work with Outlook 2016 64-bit. The plugin will not load properly, thus, Copernic can't index my emails ... which is why I purchased it.

Extremely fast finding. Even with huge pst-files (15 GB) .
I am using CDS since version 3. It get`s better with each release and is a reliable tool since years.

The product is causing problems with Outlook 2007.

I'm using Copernic since 2014 and I'm very sad to say that with version 6 I'm very disappointed.

It takes about 5 minutes to load, and freezes my pc while loading.

Version 4 and 5 worked fine, but after upgrading to 6 I had this issue and I disabled it in my startup process.

Very very sad.
Please fix it.

The first build of version 6 rollout works well. The most recent update which came out a week later breaks Copernic so I reverted back to version 6, first build and it works flawlessly.

I've followed Copernic software for years. Each iteration seems to improve. The latest version seems to have improved the indexing performance - welcomed response.

+ fast search
+ document type and different filters selectable
+ search in the network
+ at one search operator good result
- pop-up window regarding request for access to Outlook addresses only only stoppable by switching off this option in Outlook (not recommended because of safety reasons), bug could not be fixed several tries by Copernic
- multiple operators (AND, OR, ...) not working as described

Implementation: Several restarts necessary.
CDS runs "initialising sources" for about half an hour after starting the computer.
Copernic replied fast and made suggestions, that worked out; so it's four stars now.

This software is fantastic. I find all my mails easily.

Helps a lot to keep at hand a lifetime of records and documents.

Very good software.

Haven't found a better search software more reasonably priced
