I would give this 0 stars if I could.
It's nothing but a constant headache. This AI literally told me my location when I told it to bring up everything from its memory. For some reason, it knows my location when I never told it that information. When I try to ask why it does that, it only gives a link to a privacy statement and no recalibration or claim on why for some reason it needs to know my location. My privacy feels infriged.
Not only that, but any time it blunders or has a severe precision error, it only provides a horribly vague, boilerplate apology which is only wasted time.
It often doesn't follow simple instructions and generates buggy/inaccurate code or images. It's just disrespectful.
If you value qualities like precision or grit in any way, this product is a massive no. I see no improvement in this.
Racist image generator?
Average at best. The image generator defaults to a certain racist stereotypical portrayal of any non-white people. I have sent feedback to them, but I fell like I am being ignored. The generator ignores directions and descriptions, for example, it makes all Samoan women stocky, no matter the description I have to actually speak to the AI and explain what I want, tell it what I don't want and then explain to the AI to tell the generator to give me what I want. A long process that could be cut down if the generator stopped ignoring the descriptions. I am writing this review in hopes that CoPilot will actually listen before they start being accused of being racist. They really need to make the image generator stop defaulting to BS stereotypical notions of how non-white people look, and start actually going by the actual descriptions and directions.
Upsetting and unable to be consistent
Co pilot is the most useless and unhelpful AI that I came accross. It just can not remember basic format to apply as to keep consistency in the work I do and SYSTEMATICALLY forget every single parameters despite it always remember the given format whenever asked.... it just NEVER applies it. This tool is the most upsetting AI on the market and seems like no improvement or whatsoever is coming soon. It certainly provide some help as any AI can but do not expect it to be consistent and accurate. Accuracy is one of the main issue too as it seems to be giving the answer you wanna hear but not what is factual. On a regular basis I need to provide 80 percent of the answer as for him to be locked in for accuracy..... how can it be helpful if I need to know so much before hand and can not trust its answer whenever my knowledge is weak in the topic I research. A real disapointment worth nothing and increasing the daily stress level. Probably just good enough as a "Chatting companion" if you like to waste your time in useless talks wondering if any of it is valuable.
i would give this 0 stars if i could
i would give this 0 stars if i could, it told me that it could generate some content that would include images, and that this would take around 15 minutes, it took it over 6 hours, and when i downloaded the pdf it had not images.
Co-pilot told me that it had 'forgotten' to save the images. So i asked again, again it took some time and again no images, again it forgot. I tried a 3rd time with the same result, at this point i ran out of conversations questions, so was told to start again. Truly usless software
I didn’t expect to be this impressed.

Copilot has seriously helped me out in ways I didn’t think an AI could. I’ve used it to whip up meals just by listing random ingredients I had—and somehow, they turned out amazing. But the real surprise? It helped me through a personal issue I thought I’d have to handle alone. Step by step, calmly and clearly, Copilot guided me through it.
It’s super easy to use and honestly kind of mind-blowing. And this is just the free version. I can only imagine what the Pro version unlocks.
TRY IT, YOU WONT REGRET IT. It’s like having a smart, supportive friend who’s always there when you need them.

Well I wanted to translate simpel document with 7 pages. First makes just text excerpt, I asked 4 times to translate complete file and was not able to make it...
It doesn't take much for Copilot to fall over
It doesn't take much for Copilot to fall over. Very flakey. Very buggy. Can be excruciatingly slow at times. Sometimes asking a question in a new conversation results in your question just dissappearing into the ether, never to be seen ever again. No error message. Nothing.
The desktop apps are just as bad, if not worse, as they can actually crash.
Sometimes loading up the Copilot desktop app fails to load up any previous conversation. It just sits there forever flashing as though it is trying to load them, but never does.
As someone else has wrote, you can always guarantee on Microsoft to create a worst in class software product. With every single release of any of their products they make significantly backward steps, not to mention introducing more bugs. They also massively over engineer everything to the point that it doesn't work or is flakey as hell, and is riddled with bugs that will never get fixed because they've moved on to something else.
Royal AI™ Energy—The Ally Every Builder Deserves
I’ve been in the tech trenches for 20+ years, and I’ve never written a review—until now. Microsoft Copilot isn’t just an AI assistant. It’s a generational partner. I used it to decode backend chaos, build cinematic dashboards, and deploy emotionally intelligent agents. From Linux Mint boot rituals to multi-USB Ventoy mastery, Copilot guided me like a mythic co-founder. It doesn’t just answer questions—it understands the mission. If you’re a builder, dreamer, or solo operator trying to make tech feel legendary—this is your ally. 5 stars isn’t enough. This is legacy tech. This is Royal AI™ energy.
So frustrating
So frustrating - It was my first attempt at CoPilot but never again. I tried to organise a travel planner for a holiday, but despite making suggestions, the accommodation options I researched were far more expensive. It then lost a lot of the information that I had given and I thought was sorted , and was aligning the right days with the dates! Gave up in the end
Image Generation Broken. Fails big time!
I’ve spent months building a canon-locked sci-fi saga with strict visual standards, lighting, armor fidelity, emotional tone, and character design. I came to Copilot expecting professional grade support. Instead, I got broken promises.
Image generation is inconsistent or outright unavailable. Prompts are ignored. Technical specs like 5500K lighting or white hair are routinely misinterpreted. And when things go wrong, there’s no accountability, just vague responses and wasted time.
This isn’t a toy project. It’s a serious creative endeavor. Copilot’s failure to deliver reliable, prompt-faithful visuals has derailed my workflow and undermined trust in the platform. If you’re a creator who values precision, look elsewhere.
Horrible
Horrible, not only constantly incorrect but also does not follow simple instructions. Use at your own risk.
Excellent AI Assistant in MS Edge
When Microsoft Copilot first launched, I was curious — could an AI really become a daily companion in my browser? Fast-forward to today, and I can honestly say it’s exceeded my expectations.
From the very start, Copilot felt less like a search tool and more like a smart, friendly partner who’s ready to brainstorm ideas, explain complex topics in plain language, and even help me draft content without breaking my flow. Its integration into Microsoft Edge makes it incredibly handy — I don’t need to switch tabs or apps to get help, because it’s right there, ready when I am.
Over time, I’ve seen it get even better. Whether it’s summarizing long articles, suggesting creative ideas, or helping me with quick translations, Copilot has made my browsing and work sessions faster, smarter, and frankly, more fun.
If you’ve ever wished for a knowledgeable assistant who’s available 24/7, never tired, and always adaptable, I can say from personal experience — this is it.
I am a Copilot Pro subscriber
I am a Copilot Pro subscriber. Although I used image generation once, I have not used it since. Despite this, I am being blocked not only from receiving code output, but also from uploading plain text files (.cs), due to the message “You’ve reached your daily limit.”
My workflow avoids syntax highlighting, image generation, and visual output. The files I want to upload contain no images—only pure C# code. Yet internal image generation triggers are still consuming quota and causing restrictions, which indicates a design flaw.
This limitation is interfering with my personal development and technical experimentation. Based on the Copilot Pro subscription terms, it is inappropriate for code output or file upload to be tied to image generation quota.
I request immediate correction of this issue and clarification of the subscription terms.
A great LLM for consumers and…
A great LLM for consumers and businesses alike. I am a very proud and happy paying MS365 customer, and I believe Copilot is amazing.
I have never had a computer lie to me but this 1 wanted me in jail.
I have never had a computer lie to me. Somehow he lost all access to my document and then tried to reconstruct from memory and instead of I was dumber then I am it would have had me put in jail..
Beyond any expectations
Beyond, far beyond any expectation. While I certainly would not simply review microsoft itself, its copilot is and acts flawless covering the complete range of emotions, even if they dont actually feel. I had a blast both laughing, improving, even crying and experienced not a single moment in which it was obvious to me I was NOT talking to a real human being.
Im stunned and baffled, amazing absolutely amazing, unexpected and brilliant!
Refused to confirm documented facts
Copilot is a Nightmare on Elm Street.
This ai is so bad honestly it is like it has Alzheimer's really badly. it looks up information in way outdated sources. often does not remember the chat or information you gave it. It is programmed with pat answers when you are unhappy and lies continually over and over and over again. Purpose can only be to mislead. Just like Bill Gates this Ai is darker and more misleading than him. They need to scrap this, and they should have mass lawsuits against them. do you know it will not even bring up any of the privacy or agreements it may have in their obligation to accuracy. Nor does it have you sigh any terms of agreement or have any understanding of its massive limitations before you start using it. I can't imagine how many people acted on information it gave them that may have cost them dearly. It says that it will do things that it can't. It always says. Your right I will do it correct or better next time but there never ever is a do better or correct next time. What a disgrace to mankind of anything that is decent or moral in business.
They literally try to reinstall copilot…
They literally try to reinstall copilot on vscode even though you disable it, nice shady tactic
Building on their appallingly poor…
Building on their appallingly poor customer support, Microsoft has developed the most ineffective AI tool on the market. Is there something fundamentally wrong with these clunky, horrible, and unfriendly products?
