Poor customer service experience
I placed an order in good time and selected delivery for a specific date via the DPD portal. However, the courier incorrectly initiated a return without attempting delivery. I had no control over this and was not responsible for the issue.
When I contacted customer service, I was first directed back to the courier, which was not possible as the parcel was already in return transit. I then asked for a replacement to be sent so I could still receive my order in time.
I was told that nothing could be done until the original items were returned and refunded, or that I could pay extra for replacement shipping (including standard delivery), with no upfront clarity on cost.
At no point during the entire day-long exchange was there any acknowledgment or apology for the inconvenience caused, despite the issue clearly not being my fault.
The overall process felt rigid and unhelpful, with the burden placed entirely on the customer. What should have been a simple resolution turned into an unresolved issue spanning the entire day.
Very disappointing experience.
Nightmare.
Had an issue, customer service wasn’t helpful and then scammed me money on return.. 2KG went missing when I returned the order as the items sent fell under the measurements on the website. Absolute nightmare.

Order didn't come and denied - resolved now

EDIT: THEY GAVE ME A REFUND, THEY RESOLVED IT QUICKLY :)

I've used Cork Bark UK before. And, this time I was equally as happy with the bulk selection I received. I didn't leave a review last time (I don't always leave them for companies) however, I always think you can tell more about a company when things go wrong (as it is human nature that sometimes things do go wrong). The issue was with the delivery company and there was absolutely no doubt about that. But, my 1st point of contact is obviously the company. I contacted Cork Bark UK regarding my expected delivery. Within minutes, I received an email back to confirm they had read my email, to apologise and to say they were looking into it. Not long after that, I received another email with precise details of what had happened. Not only that, they had resent another batch and provided full tracking details for the new package. I hate reaching out to companies with this type of issue, especially when the delivery company has stated they'd attempted delivery when they havent. Not once did I feel as though Cork Bark UK doubted me. They were friendly, professional and extremely efficient. The new delivery arrived without issue. Thank you for such a pleasant experience, and as always top quality Bark.

Confirmed the order but never sent and didn’t respond to emails. Thankfully Clearpay opened a dispute and refunded my money. Avoid this company.

No delivery and no contact from them.
My order should have been delivered by 2nd May, and I'm still waiting.
Despite numerous emails, Facebook message, voicemail, and lastly a dispute with clearpay they haven't responded to any of them.
Avoid like the plague, it seems they've either gone bust or just like taking customer's money and blanking them.

Not Refunding me for a product they let me buy but don't actually stock.
Almost a month ago I bought a colony of Dubia Roaches from Cork Bark UK. It never arrived (waited over a week) so I contacted them and they told me they don't even sell it anymore but still had the listing on their website and had taken my money without checking they could fulfill the order. Chased them again for the refund (over £50) and they told me their account department would issue the refund. Nearly 2 weeks later and I still haven't got my refund. I'm not one to complain but I could really use that £50 and they haven't been the most apologetic about the whole incident, and in general are fairly blunt. Not happy, please just refund me what I am due.
EDIT: They did finally refund me over 3 weeks on from my initial complaint, but I had to send them a legal breach of contract letter before they reached out to me. No apology at all either, just asked for my bank details. Wouldn't recommend.

Parcel took a week longer than they said emailed them to question where my parcel was and got no reply, when it finally turned up I ordered 3kg of cork bark and got 1kg at most. Scam company
