Flexible when we needed to extend. Very helpful and caring. Apartment was clean and stocked with amenities we needed, to include a nice snack basket and starter items for the kitchen and laundry. They rearranged furniture to accommodate our family and needs. The best.

Good but not great
We have been in our unit,5968 Chasewood, #103, for over two weeks. Let's agree that nothing is perfect and go from there. To begin. Lisa Tormondsen is a star, she has been so helpful. Really saved the day when we locked ourselves out and my husband's oxygen was almost depleted. It was a Saturday, I placed a call to her, it went to voice mail, I assumed she was off and therefore a dead end until Monday. Got working on the facility's emergency system and it became obvious it was going to take awhile, time we didn't have. Out of the blue, Lisa called me back. Saw I'd called but hadn't left a message. I feel it was over the top that she responded to a nothing call. That is caring and great attention to detail.
This unit is a perfect size for us, so convenient for my husband to just walk from the garage into unit since his exertion effort is so minimal. The unit is well stocked. However it is old and desperate need of updating. Faucets seem like they are going to come out of the wall when turning them on and off. The toilets don't flush well, need to giggle the handle after each flush. No spray at kitchen sink, cabinet door pulls are grimmy, bathroom sinks look dirty they are so old. Also we feel most things are so cheap they hardly work. Knives are so dull they rip instead of cutting. Microwave is marginal, TV is marginal, lightening is marginal especially in kitchen and great room, and one bed has terrible mattress. Guess we are critical because we are here a lot, we don't work and spend most of our day here.
Having said all that, we would probably return next year if possible because it works so well for my husband.

My dealings with CorporatHousing.com
A few weeks ago I contacted an agent representing this housing group and was somewhat disappointed.
I was told that no leases start except on the first of any given month. Really? That is a cold shower for a hot prospect...
I was also told that I would be contacted by someone (no name or contact info was given) who could show me some of the apartments that were available at that time, This was during the first week of the month and I was seriously looking for a longer term that most motels will allow. Not having ever seen an apartment, I cannot give a proper review for this company or the apartments that they manage.
Perhaps after I finish my now extended motel stay, I will see some apartments.....I will contact the agent again but if I get the same cooperation again, expect a much longer review next time.

We could not have been happier or felt more at home. We rented the condo at Tuscana because my ex-husband was going through Stem cell replacement at the Mayo clinic, so our stay was pretty extensive (2 mo's) The staff here has been so caring and wonderful,and could not have been more helpful. THank you.
The Staff keeps the grounds and Condos spotless, I am an early riser and they are out cleaning the pool area by 5:30am to make sure it is ready for their guest. I feel safe here and so at home. We recommend this Tuscana to everyone,and have even recommended it to people at Mayo that may need a place to stay.

Contacted CorporateHousing.com from Belize looking for short term housing 6 weeks prior to moving back to the US. We were looking for something in the 3 to 6 month range. All request for contact or availability on places to stay were NEVER returned by phone call, even when it was stated we would be contacted. Only one time there was an e-mail sent saying we would be contacted by phone and never was. Waste of time trying to use CorporateHousing.com. This was not about one property it was several that we contacted that would not respond. If CorporateHousing.com is publishing information on rental property then it is your responsibility to verify the properties posted are responding to inquires from individuals.

Looked but didn't rent
We were considering corporate housing to make our move to the area a little easier, since most places are fully furnished and utilities are included. With 2 large dogs, it's difficult to find affordable housing that will accept them. However, we ultimately decided to rent a regular house as we found a decent one in an acceptable neighborhood that allows our dogs. This site was very helpful during our search

The term "Corporate Housing" can be a bit ambiguous. We want to clear it up for you. According to the Corporate Housing Providers Association, “It is everything you need to live away from your permanent home.” But every property and provider has a different way of creating that experience for their guests. Generally, the community or company will work hand-in-hand with the guest to cater to all their specific needs, but there may be additional fees or processes in order to do so.
We strive to make it as clear as possible on the profile pages for the different properties and capture what working with that company will entail. However, we can always improve in certain areas and your feedback is taken seriously. We will look into ways to have clearer information around meals, insurance, and what utilities may cost extra, etc.

Shabby Apartment/Poor Customer Service
My experience with corporate housing was not good. When I first checked in with the front desk, I was given a key for the apartment. Although the key worked on the door lock, the key did not work on the deadbolt. Therefore, i had to go back down to the front desk (with all my luggage), and they called maintenance. I went back to the apartment and waited 1/2 hour for maintenance to let me in. I then walked into the apartment and immediately noticed two rips on the leather couch in the LR. Apartment was OK, and had a nice view, but many things (curtains, dressers, closet doors) were a bit shabby and had some marks on them. Later, I tried to watch TV, and was able to turn the TV on, but the remote would not change channels. Although none of these issues were major, the combination of all these issues made a very bad impression of the quality and care this company takes in its properties.
Also, there was an issue with parking. The website says the property I was renting had onsite parking. However, when I inquired at the front desk, they said there was no onsite parking, and I would have to use a garage a block away. Again, not a huge issue, but another example of poor quality/care.
I sent an email to the company highlighting all these problems, and asked them to address these issues. Despite a response that they would look into these issues, they never gave me a new key (so I could never use the deadbolt), they never fixed the TV remote, and they never did anything about the ripped couch. The only item they addressed was to tell me their website was incorrect and there was no onsite parking (although I just checked their website, and it still says the property has onsite parking).
All in all, a very negative experience, and I will NEVER use them again.
