Highly recommend cosmetica!

I asked for my crown to be done and the front of my hair. There was soo few grafts put in my crown that I still have a big bald patch. I expected a better result. When I complained I was offered a small discount to go back. I was also shown the pen marks of the graft area which was tiny and not made aware I would still have a large bald patch. Date was Dec 24 so it has had plenty of time to grow.

I recently underwent a hair transplant at Cosmedica. While the results so far look promising and my overall impression is positive, there were several logistical and clinical aspects that made the experience feel a bit more impersonal than I had hoped.
The clinic is a very high-volume operation and felt slightly like a conveyor belt of people being treated. This was most evident during my interaction with Dr. Acar; the consultation lasted around 2 minutes, where he briefly checked the work the technicians were doing and then wasn't seen again. It is an efficient system, but it definitely lacks a personal touch and individual attention.
The transportation provided was generally good and punctual. However, on the day of the procedure, my session time was changed at the last minute that morning. This led to the entire pre-op process feeling very rushed. Additionally, while the staff was friendly, there was a slight language barrier at times, which made detailed communication a bit difficult.
My main concern post-op is the graft count. I would suggest I am around a Norwood Level 3, yet 4,000 grafts were extracted. I am slightly worried that I may have been overharvested for my specific level of hair loss. I am keeping a close eye on the donor area density as it heals to ensure it hasn't been depleted too much for any potential future needs.

Payment Surcharge: If you pay by card, the price increases by 15%. This is frustrating, as most people are hesitant to carry £3,000+ in cash through an airport.
Aftercare Products: The kit provided includes shampoos and lotions that exceed the 100ml liquid limit. If you are traveling with carry-on luggage only, you will likely have issues with security. I’d recommend checking a bag or bringing your own travel-sized bottles.
Summary The process is a well-oiled machine, but you need to be prepared for the high-volume nature and the specific payment/travel logistics. I’m hopeful for the final results, but the "industrial" feel of the journey is something to be aware of.

Such an amazing clinic! From the day I made contact with Cosmedica I knew I was in good hands! I throughly did my research and extremely happy with my choice. Was an amazing experience! Everything was done very professionally. My specialist who worked on me was absolutely amazing. She was very attentive and caring for all my needs. Also aftercare is doing such a fine job following up and answering all my questions. Everything was done very well but would have liked more time with Dr. Acar. It seemed to only be 5-10 mins with him.

It’s been 3 days since the hair transplant. I was very happy with the support and experience with Cosmedica. The staff was thorough with the whole process, the transport for the airport was smooth, the hotel breakfast at the Renaissance was excellent, the kids loved the swimming pool and jacuzzi at the hotel.

I’m really happy with the how natural the donor area looks so far. The extraction looks very natural. Some of the lesser known clinics are leaves unnatural lines in the donor area, but Comedica extracted it from all over the bottom part of the head so naturally that I know when my hair grows out it will grow out naturally.

My family enjoyed the stay here in Istanbul. Thank you for your hospitality.

Cosmedica takes care of your hair transplant process from the moment you arrive at the airport and it is a very smooth experience. Like many people I heard to be wary of "hair mills" but I didn't feel that way at all about cosmedica. My surgical team was excellent and the operation went smoothly. I liked how congenial and reassuring all the staff were. For people still on the fence about flying to turkey, I think you can just go with cosmedica instead of going down a reddit rabbit hole.

After doing a load of research online about where to get a Hair transplant I decided to go with cosmedica, based on their reputation and their online presence, and honestly I’m so happy with my results and with their help and customer service,
Everything was arranged for me and it was as simple as booking flight to turkey and everything else was sorted from there. Had a private taxi that took me from the airport to a 5 star hotel and stayed for 3 days whilst having 4500 grafts put in my head.

My experience with Cosmedica was overall good, communication can be better, my technicians that performed the implants seemed a little young so the experience would be limited, I will be able to give a more precise review after the 6 mth stage.

I am very happy with the results so far and how much help they have provided when theres a request made...Its easy to see why they are so good at what they do

If I could offer improvement I would suggest maybe to provide more communication on whats happening. I found there a times were it was a guessing game on whats happening next and we would be given different timings during the process and thats ok but when we arrive we sometimes sit for a couple hours before service would come even thought the times where specifically change for us to be there

..this isnt for negative feedback as I think by far they are the best...u can tell when ur there that they are professional and it makes sense as they deal with many people daily that is hard to control...I just feel that as a patient thats unaware completly of whats going on then we should get the full info and clarity of what will be happening..I felt I spent a few times fishing for what Is going to happen next and nobody likes to bother other people lol...

would I come back ? Of course...

For the amount of people that goes through here they still do an excellent job...I just hope they can maybe see if theres a better way to deliver all the info clearly..
