Can't make hot chocolate to save their lives, if I wanted urine I'd have asked for it

Having been a loyal customer for many years my last few visits have been so disappointing !
Paper cups being used at sit inside excuse lack of staff
Next visit the same but thus time broken dishwasher
Today at 3 15 told would be paper cups as they close at 4 !!!
Don't think staff seem to care
Last visit to Costa would have probably spent about 10 pound their loss

Daughter went for a job interview at Costa coffee Meadowhall park lane , praised by the manager Nicky for phoning back out of college time as not many do!! Interview went well , told would hear either way by Friday , guess what no call back! Daughter tried calling back to see if she could improve her skills but both occasions heard manager in the background tell served to fob her off !! How rude !! Does not give Costa Coffee a good reputation for future employment ! Don’t go to Meadowhall costa and waste you money !!!

Myself and my mum attended Costa at Lisnagelvin shopping centre, londonderry, northern Ireland on Thursday 27 Oct at 12.20pm. I ordered hot toasties, two tray bakes, a coffee and a tea. The toasties were heated before the drinks were made, then the staff member who looked totally scunnered made my flat white. Bearing in mind my toasties were still waiting to be eaten, the girl then started banging the coffee in the cup off the table. She proceeded to grunt and groan before telling me she would have to remake it and she would bring it over. My mum had her lunch eaten and I was still waiting on my coffee. I went to the counter and the girl had gone. I explained to another staff member and she responded in front of a que of customers that she hadn't been told that. Totally embaresed me as if I was lying. Finally I got my coffee but my lunch was freezing. I told the staff member and she simply shrugged her shoulders. I then seen the scunnered staff member on her phone at the back of the store. I spent almost 20 and the service was disgusting
Made a complaint to customer services to be ignored basically.

coffee cold / biscuits well over priced ( "adding to inflation" as just gone up 35p now £1.90 for 2 ) staff looking like they was not interested will give it a miss from now on as very poor value in pickering north yorkshire

Brilliant service. Just want to say what brilliant food and coffee I received from costa coffee. The staff were so friendly and efficient. Deffinately go back again. Thank you

We have been loyal Costa customers for longer than I can remember, but feel they are not listening to their customers comments. In recent months we have noticed that their coffee tastes totally different and not for the better. Whilst in the Portishead branch discovered them using a very cheap soya from their normal Alpro Barista, it really is quite disgusting. This soya we discovered is being used in every branch we have been in and so we walk out and use a coffeehouse that does use a descent soya.
Come on Costa use a decent soya.

Went to Costa in Tilehurst where they made my drink wrong 3 times & in the end had a totally different drink. The batista tried telling me it was how it was done & argued with me. Will go to Starbucks on future!! I always have a skinny coffee frappe & first time made with wrong milk & second time too runny & in the end had a iced latte.

Sausage ciabatta awful obviously not doing M&S good in this one. Floor/windows looked as if they hadn’t been swept/cleaned for weeks.will not be back!!

I visited Costa Coffee in Tesco, Burton on Trent today.
The service provided by Aaron and his colleague was superb.
They were friendly, helpful and efficient and the food offering was good
My order was a coffee and breakfast roll.

On my last 2 visits, I noticed the preparation of drinks is abysmal. Coffee is heaped into previously used (unwashed & wet) baskets - still retaining some old grounds - tamped poorly, resulting in poor extraction and bitter tasting coffee. The same cup is used to prepare every shot. The lack of preparation & hygiene is unacceptable. I make my own coffee, using a separate grinder, machine & prep tools, so understand the process. What I witnessed was appalling. Puts me off using Costa ever again.

Instead of having a proper cafe, Tesco in Wisbech sadly have a Costa. So not having any choice I went for coffee. I wish I hadn't bothered. In the 3 years since I last drank Costa coffee nothing has changed. It is still weak, tasteless and overpriced.

I emailed head office about there Costa coffee shop and have not even acknowledged it unprofessional of them all rude and ignorant the rate I give them is ZERO would not recommend them to anyone

Costa Coffee M4 Eastbound. Bought 2 croissants for £2.35 and £2.10, a completely ripped off, overpriced, definitely not fresh.In the continent Costa Coffee with this quality wouldn't have any possibility to success.

Not impressed we ordered 2 hot drinks & 1 cold drink along with 3 sandwiches, cold drink was the last to arrive waited 10 mins for it after the rest of our order had already been given to us. To make it worse the lad doing it looked like he didn’t have a clue how to work the machine, when he did finally work it out he stood having a conversation with another member of staff instead of finishing the drink!!! Then finally asked if we wanted cream. 5 members of staff were there 5 & the cold drink was last!!!! It looked like only 2 members working throughout the time we were there…this was in the Princess hay in Exeter….

Do Costa coffee shops care? Not a bit, toilets dirty, staff rude, food an absolute disgrace, coffee cups ridiculous, prices extortionate, decor tired they do not deserve to survive in today’s world. Haywards Heath, East Sussex was my last experience. Now costa says my account is about to be closed, they can’t even get that right as they should have done it ages ago. I complained and it all fell on deaf ears. So I voted with my feet. Never have I ever had such bad experiences with , in my opinion the worst company that thinks so highly of its self. Go forth costa and take your coffee with you.

I’m a regular customer at Costa who spends on average about £30 a week in Costa franchises. On Saturday 5th November I went to the Costa in Moto services, Birch Eastbound off the M62 and I asked their arrogant employee for a salted caramel latte (which I order every time I visit Costa with no issues). First of all I was told that she did not have salted caramel syrup which was a lie, I could see the bottle behind her. She then said this is only for cold refreshments we do not offer salted caramel lattes. When I confronted her on this point she says it’s against Costa policy to serve hot salted caramel lattes? Again a complete fabrication. When I pleaded with her to make it, she put hardly any syrup in the cup, burnt the coffee and pretty much launched the coffee across the counter, I’ve never seen such rudeness and disrespect towards a customer in ten years shopping on Costa stores. It was so foul I had to throw it away. I received a weak apology from the store and as a result refuse to shop there again
