I've ordered OM-3 from Cotswoldcameras on 9th January for planned trip (flight is on 5th of February). I was a bit anxious on whether the 14 working days will be hounoured as when asking Cotswoldcameras directly Rebecca promptly answered that there is no guarantee.
That being said camera has arrived ahead of time on the 21st of January so only 8 working days after the order was placed.
Camera is new in box, very well packed and with an English menu as promised.
I liked the prompt communication and information I was given.
One thing to improve would be maybe giving a tracking for the outside EU part of the leg. Because when one gets tracking number it's already on the way and actually I got it on 20th and camera was delivered at 21th..

Bought an OM-5 Mark II from Cotswold Cameras and had a great experience from start to finish. Communication was clear, the price was fair, and the camera arrived quickly and well packaged.

Really pleased with the camera itself, compact, well built, and exactly what I was after. It was refreshing to buy from a knowledgeable independent camera shop rather than a big chain.

I bought a sony zv-e10 ii off this company and was very happy with my decision to do so. When the camera arrived the battery needed charging I had problems with this as my power supply plugs at home weren't powerful enough which caused confusion. But I contacted cotswold camers and they were happy to talk me through my problems and they got sorted very quickly.

Unfortunately, the camera model just wasn't for me personally, but the return process was top-notch. Support replied to my inquiry immediately. They offered several return options, and I chose to use the Cotswold return label (I covered the cost for the label), which was very convenient. Thanks to the tracking, I could see exactly where the package was. As soon as it arrived back with them, I received a prompt reply and the money was refunded to my account lightning fast.

They have the best prices for the lenses I bought. Purchased two Sigma lenses, the 17-40 mm and the 16-300 mm. Probably saved 400 euros compared to the cheapest prices in Sweden in total. The delivery was as informed, roughly two weeks and everything came in perfect condition.

Everything from order to delivery went very smoothly. I changed my order in the middle of the process and the people at Cotswold cameras were extremely helpful. The camera and lens are new and were well packed; all of this at about half the price of a regular online shop.

Bought a Nikon Z lens. Original product and package. Shipment arrived in two weeks, no further expenses. Working perfectly. User manual through the Nikon website. Only one uncertainty: is the product covered by the international Nikon warranty? This needs to be specified by Cotswold.

I am a customer who has already waited 10–14 days due to their mistake, receiving the wrong camera. I was promised a Nikon ZR camera body with English menu options, but instead I received a JP (Japanese market) model, which is locked to Japanese only.

After discovering the issue, I had to spend 5 days emailing back and forth just to receive a return label and for Them to verify the issue, Now I am told the process Will take close to a month… a month!..
• 9 days for them to receive the returned camera
• 3 days for inspection
• another 10–14 days for a replacement to be delivered

That is on top of the 10–14 days I already waited in the first place.

How is this acceptable?
How can CostWorldCameras not have better control over the product models in their warehouse, or even basic knowledge that Japanese-only models exist on the market?

At the very least, they should compensate with express delivery for the replacement — but no such solution has been offered only ignored

This entire situation has been handled extremely slowly and poorly, and as a customer I feel completely let down.

Initially I was apprehensive of buying through this company as the cameras are clearly grey imports. However, the reality is that I received a brand new camera exactly as described, but at a saving of 33% compared to UK retailers. There is a 10 day delay as the camera came from Hong Kong. They use DPD for delivery and you can track the item all the way. I would use them again and recommend to others.

I bought a Sony A7 V together with the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN II Art during the Christmas period, as I needed the equipment in time for a trip to London. Despite the busy dates, the order arrived within the estimated delivery time and was very well packaged.

I am not used to buy photo equipment through such companies. When I received the parcel, the first thing I was looking on the camera body is a french menu, & it was there, firmware for Europe installed. Just perfect, I can confirm that Cotswoldcameras is serious.
