Wholesale Payment Made, No Response After Funds Received
We contacted Cotton Mouth Lozenges through the contact form on their official website regarding a wholesale purchasing opportunity. After submitting our inquiry, we were contacted by email and engaged in several weeks of discussions regarding wholesale orders, Amazon Brand Registry access, and account setup.
The representatives provided distributor pricing, requested our reseller certificate, discussed onboarding as an Amazon seller, and supplied multiple bank accounts under the name "Cotton Mouth Lozenges" for payment. Based on these communications, we proceeded in good faith and arranged payment.
After payment was made, we were repeatedly assured that invoices, a Letter of Authorization (LOA), Brand Registry access, and other required documentation would be provided. The company eventually confirmed receipt of the funds and stated that the remaining documents would be sent shortly.
However, after confirming receipt of payment, communication stopped. We sent numerous follow up emails and called the company multiple times at 888-490-1547, leaving voicemail messages requesting updates. None of our calls were returned, and we received no meaningful response to our emails.
As of today, we have not received the promised documentation, services, or order fulfillment information. Due to the company's complete lack of response after payment was received, we have opened a dispute with Wise and filed a complaint with the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3).
We are sharing our experience so that other businesses conducting wholesale transactions can exercise caution and perform additional due diligence before sending funds.
