The Cotton On MCR Open was a meticulously planned and curated experience, enjoyed immensely by myself, both from an artist participant and as an interested visitor.
An amazing array of visual styles and media, encompassing many diverse and interesting subjects.

Each and every piece was afforded its own space to be enjoyed and admired in isolation, but also placed in perfect rhyme or contrast with surrounding works to create wonderful connections and conversations of themes and counterpoints. This is no small achievement, and organiser Domino must take huge credit for delivering such a well considered and curated show.

Communication and logistics from a participants standpoint was excellent, the chosen space was superb, and I personally would like to congratulate all participating artists on providing such excellent pieces, I was incredibly proud to be included with you all!

Top notch event , well planned with highly detailed organisational information given in plenty of time for artists taking part. Great publicity. In a gorgeous accessible space.

The exhibition "In Manchester '' organized by founder Domino was an extravagant exhibition of painting, sculpture, embodying with installation, was full of possibilities. Established on work by a variety of artists based in Manchester , the complex exhibition aimed to broaden the viewer 's understanding of the extent of art in the life of the city . The gallery space had created an atmospheric space filled with elements such as ceramics, sculptures and objects in addition to paintings. Carefully prepared for reading by various audiences, and to allow thought above the frailty of life. The exhibition testifies to the willingness of Manchester artists to explore, as forms and ideas emerge. The exhibition is inherently contemplative, in the sense that it takes time to walk through the exhibit materials, which communicate endless possibilities of Manchester’s artists .

In Manchester Exhibition.

It was a great experience, very eclectic and dynamic exhibition with amazing artworks and talented artists. Thanks to all the Cotton On Mcr staff to be so helpful, I think the display was very well organised, the artists talks contributed to make the exhibition even more interesting, having the chance to meet other artists and know a bit more about the way they are working, procedures and knowledge.
This is so important to support the local artists and keep the Manchester art scene growing up.

Exhibited at Cotton On MCR's recent 'In Manchester' exhibition and absolutely loved everything about it. Venue was amazing, and the opening night was packed! Couldn't have enjoyed it more.

In Manchester Exhibition
I took part in the In Manchester Exhibition. It was beautifully curated and presented in a fabulous venue. Domino was extremely helpful and supportive and the arrangements were very clear and ran like clockwork. It was such a pleasure meeting other artists and talking about their work in such a friendly and welcoming environment. I also sold my work which was a thrill! I hope that I can take part in other Cottonon events in the future.

Attended the Art Theory and Practice:Colour workshop on Saturday 26th March at Gallery Oldham. It was really interesting and great fun. Expertly led by Art Historian Sara Riccardi and Artist Alice Copley. It was a good balance of Art appreciation and Art history followed by the opportunity to respond to Zarah Hussain's Light upon Light exhibition using the various materials provided. Thank you for a really enjoyable and informative afternoon.

Amazing experience, would definitely come again! Wonderful to see so many people's art and take part in exhibition and workshops!

This was my first ever event I've been to where I get to showcase my work. I absolutely loved it!! I was overwhelmed by the amount of support I received from customers and other artists surrounding me. I loved it that much that I would 200% be applying for the next one. It was fantastic for networking and really pushing my art out to a totally different market. - thank you so much for expecting me into this.

This is the second time I've been fortunate enough to trade at the Cotton On MCR Art All Dayer, once again in the absolutely gorgeous Hallé St Peters. These events are so great for traders, because they are always worth your time, in terms of high numbers of visitors interested in art, helpful staff on hand and a great atmosphere in the venue. Looking forward to the next one.

Amazing da - Definitely worthwhile for stallholders!

Everyone is so supportive and genuine and there was a buzz all day with the public coming through the door. Can't beat getting to know your customers face to face!

This has been a great experience from start to finish ! Highly recommend working alongside Cotton on it’s events and the organisers. Staff were extremely helpful and supportive . The fair was massively successful and full of great customers and artists .

It is always a joy taking part in the Cotton on Mcr events. This is my third event now. The Winter edition was well curated with nice variety of different makers and artists. The assistants were very helpful and the atmosphere positive and supportive. The only thing that perhaps let the market down this time was marketing, it would have been nice see more original posts about the event from Cotton on Mcr and perhaps an artist feature on stories building up to the fair, so that visitors get a taster of who will be selling. It is still one of my favourite markets and I’ll be back in March for the next one!

Such a great organisation for artist and people curious about creativity. They have amazing workshops and events that do help people tap into their creative side.
Very approachable, friendly and organised, they have been a pleasure to work with and I'm excited to do more with them in the future.

Well curated, nice variety of different makers and artists. The assistants were very helpful and approachable, and the general atmosphere was positive and supportive, would definitely go again.

Brilliant, beautiful craft fair with really interesting artwork and great cafe on site too.
