Issue is still not solved.
The statement that this is “handled by the developer team, not by support” is misleading from a customer perspective. As a user, I am paying for a functioning platform, regardless of how responsibilities are divided internally. It is reasonable to expect the support team to take ownership of issues and coordinate with developers until they are resolved.

Additionally, this is not simply “core platform functionality.” The issue is that a user-selected country value is not correctly stored in the lead properties. That is incorrect data handling, which indicates a software bug affecting data integrity, not a platform limitation.

Overall, I’m largely happy with Course Creators Kit. My website looks great, the checkout is beautiful, funnels are very easy to build, and support is usually fast and helpful.

However, there is a serious issue with lead country data. Even when new leads manually select their country in my pop-up (as advised by CCK), the Lead properties still default to “Netherlands”, while a different country is shown elsewhere in the system.

This means the same lead can show two different countries, which creates VAT and tax compliance risks for EU-based businesses. The issue has been escalated to the developer team to investigate a form-field–to–lead-property mapping problem, but there is currently no timeline for resolution, leaving only unreliable manual workarounds.

I was also informed that support for advanced customers will transition away from CCK in 2026, and that improved data handling is part of their newer platform (DEK). While migration is optional, resolving this properly may realistically require a costly move after only one year on the platform.

While I still appreciate CCK’s design and usability, this is core functionality and an important limitation for EU businesses to be aware of.

This issue remains unresolved and the support ticket has now been closed without a timeline.

I am so happy and relieved that I found CCK. It has everything I needed in one place and it's accompanied by a premium customer service, answering questions on the spot and working in a very productive manner. I signed up for the trial CCK initially to begin development of my first online course. I have now created my signature course, Dore River Stock Dog Training Bootcamp, to help stock dog owners train their herding dogs.

I signed up for a total of six Tech calls and these made the world of difference to my progress. Edette walked me through the building process and with her knowledge of launching courses, provided a strong support system for me.
