Useless, if you're not in their service area, they wont complete any boiler service and fob you off with excuses

Sorry that you didn’t have a good experience. Your review doesn’t actually relate to coverbaloo, as boiler services are provided by a different company - Preferred Management Solutions. From talking with them though I can confirm that your statement isn’t accurate. You are in the service area, but your booked engineer was called away for an emergency so had to be rebooked, and I understand that you have now been fully refunded.

EASY TO SETUP COMPARED TO OTHERS...

Really easy to set up and at a very good price.
Although early days yet and hopefully I'll never have to claim - but they have very good reviews so fingers crossed!!

Ridiculous quote for home insurance

Ridiculous quote for home insurance. Wanted £656 per year for insuring £280k buildings and £20k contents. Other insurers, even on their hoguest level of cover, came in at £300, but most options at £160-170. I’d stay far away from Cover Baloo with those ridiculous prices.

I'm sorry you felt the need to leave us a negative review. As you can see from our other reviews, most people usually have a very positive experience with us and find our prices competitive. It does seem like your quote was notably above our average price for home insurance, but there could be multiple reasons for this specific to your circumstances. Our policy is 5 star rated and covers up to £1 million buildings and £100,000 contents as standard, which sounds like it may be more than you were looking for. I obviously can't comment on the other quotes that you've received, as I don't know how comprehensive these covers are for such a low price, but I'm glad you've managed to find cover elsewhere that meets your needs.

Brill insurance provider

Brill insurance provider, really easy to sign up and everything is very clear. A few times wording confused me as jt the first time I've done home insurance and the little question marks answered all my questions.

Very helpful, patient and reassuring advisor who put my mind at rest in respect of this firm's understanding about flood risk issues in particular. No unnecessary legalistic language used- very clear approach.

Used a cashback site for my home…

Used a cashback site for my home insurance and they declined to pay it.
God help us if we ever need to claim in case of a problem.

I'm sorry that you're unhappy with the outcome through the cashback site. According to the data that we received to validate your cashback, the tracking link was clicked a week after the original quote that you did with us; our terms state that you need to click the link, start a new quote, and complete the sale in one transaction in order for it to track correctly.

Any claims you might have would be handled directly by the underwriter, Royal & Sun Alliance, who are among the top providers in the UK for paying out claims, so I hope that can provide you with some assurance if you have were to have any problems.
