Paid $2,500 AUD for international insurance with Cover-More through Flight Center.
My wife was injured in a fall requiring water rescue, medical transfer, hospitalization, doctors care etc.
Cover-More and their accomplice World Travel Protection were contacted on the day of the accident which was four days before departure.
Despite 11 phone calls, 13 emails providing doctors certificates, incident report and medical receipts, Cover-More & World Travel Protection supplied no assistance at all to help my wife travel home safely and comfortably.
Incredibly poor service and total lack of care. Why pay insurance if the company does not provide?
Cover-More were not present in our hours of need, their accomplice World Travel Protection (great name for a probable two person scam operation) went silent. We were strung along for four days that they were going to help to fall silent on our departure day.
I am lucky I was able to deal directly with the airline and pay for a bed on the flight, organise wheel char access and other requirements to get my wife home safely and comfortably. I also paid all out of pocket medical expenses.
What did Cover-Less pay for? NOTHING!!!!
BUYERS BEWARE, I BELIEVE FROM MY EXPERIENCE THEY ARE SCAMMERS.
Use a company that actually provides insurance services and not this company that from my experience behave fraudulently.

We made a claim for a cruise we could not board, due to Cyclone Alfred threatening to impact our home on the day of departure. We submitted the claim, were notified the claim had been received and were informed our claim had been successful, within the stated ten days.

Absolutely terrible! I honestly don’t know how Cover More Insurance is still in business. The level of incompetence here is mind-blowing. I’ve had more problems with them than I’ve had with insurance companies from third-world countries! They have no clue how to handle claims, their customer service is a joke, and don’t even get me started on their confusing policies. If you want a company that treats you like a number and makes you want to pull your hair out, then Cover More is for you. Trust me, even insurance in a third-world country is 10 times better than this. Zero stars if I could give them that.”

I was injured on a recent trip and contacted emergency assistance who were extremely supportive. They followed up every couple of days to see how I was doing and provided valuable information on what documents, etc I would need to make a claim. I lodged an online claim via the Cover-More website which was very user friendly. The claims team were also helpful when I had a question about one of the documents requested. The outcome was determined within 10 days. Overall a positive experience.

Cover more insurance was absolutely exceptional in help and support when we needed it, we had our flight delayed
and then cancelled which caused us the miss the departure of our Cruise from Sydney to NZ.
After consulting Cover more we made our own way to Auckland to embark the cruise
we had kept in touch with them and they were outstanding in help and support the claim was dealt with very quickly with great customer care,I always use cover more for insurance and will always use them.
