Aweful company, complete incompetence
Cowgills handled administration for the company I worked at. They emailed 95% of the staff around 12pm Thursday telling them all to go home. Something they could have done the day before rather than dragging all the staff into work and wasting every ones time.
100% of info provided by on site staff regarding the administration and redundancy claims process was wrong. I emailed them for clarification, and all info given to me over email was also inaccurate or completely wrong. I had to spam call the case handler to get any sort of answer and was then still made to wait weeks for any form of clarification.
Took them over two weeks after termination to send out the packs of information required to apply for redundancy claims and flat out refused to email it to me, until two weeks had passed. Then they emailed it to me, initially told me they couldn't email me anything until I received a physical copy in the mail, but after two weeks and no mail they did eventually email it to me, so I was lied to about the regulations and what they can and can't do.
Didn't inform staff they would lose out on notice period pay if they didn't apply for benefits as soon as they where terminated. (I personally lost about £500 due to this one thing). They claim I have to speak to the government to fix this, and the goverment tells me its the administrators responsibility, they just don't want to actually do their job properly and try blame it on the gov.
When I brought this up to them as a complaint I was basically told to kick rocks and they aren't responsible for costing me time, effort, and the money I was entitled to had they done their job correctly. I could pursue sure, but they have been a nightmare to deal with, like squeezing water from a rock, not worth anymore mental energy to deal with incompetence. I still have all the emails and exchanges with the company to prove all of this. They will act like they want to help me, but they definitely don't.
Scumbag company full of incompetence, happy to lie to their clients and debtors (i.e. employees being terminated who are owed money)
