I have had an AWFUL experience with this couch. First of all the basalt color is completely different in person than it looks in the photo in the photo. It looks like a beautiful silvery blue. In person it’s just straight up navy there’s really no silver/grey tone to it. The material is also the kind of material that snags if your hands are too dry. I’ve had this couch for only four months and it has completely shredded. It’s not pet friendly at all. I emailed customer service and they said that it’s not meant to hold up to “active” pets but the attached photos are insane. I’ve had multiple couches. None of them have shredded like this. Customer service won’t do anything other than replace the slip cover, which obviously won’t hold up anyway. I also had an awful allergic reaction to the waterproofing materials that this is sprayed with. Customer service was also unhelpful and rude about this. It’s also hard to wash because the Velcro on the slip cover snags the rest of the fabric in the wash so even though it’s labeled washable, it doesn’t really hold up to washing well. This couch has been a complete nightmare and Cozey won’t let me return it.
