The representative, Nicole, was the absolute best. She was patient and pleasant as she walked me through steps to continuously view scenes; suggested how to save clips through SIM card and email( both to which I am in total agreement); and an appointment was set-up to install the SIM card. Excellent service experience!

In short, the CPI software and integration is embarrassingly bad.
It doesn't connect to Google home. You cannot add external devices through the Google ecosystem. You cannot even add external devices through apple or Alexa, you have to integrate them through the cpi panel or app, both of which have user interfaces dreampt up by the utterly deranged.
I ended up getting a separate camera system because cpi couldn't do what I wanted. My entire smart home is separate from cpi. Basically the only thing cpi does is the alarm and smoke detector, and even then I have some Google smoke detectors that are more useful.
Save yourself a headache and find another alarm company that has a competent smart home system that doesn't lock you out of the best hardware options available.

Recently moved over to CPI after being with SecureTec for 15 years.
While I talked to quite a few companies, Rhonda Goodman’s pitch for CPI was the deciding factor for me choosing CPI over other companies. It was quite evident that she cared about us as a family rather than a sale and was very patient in answering all my concerns.
The installation techs arrived on time and were quite professional. Rhonda followed up after the installation to check on me and that made me feel so special since businesses really don't care after a sale is made.
Hoping for a long tenure with CPI and am happy with their services.

Lenell Perkins provided great customer service today. My husband called in to get assistance with setting up our new WiFi Mesh equipment and Lenell was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with the set-up. Contacted support as as result of app informing me that doorbell was not responding and after troubleshooting per app's instructions. Informed initial rep of the situation who asked me if I saw any lights on my doorbell, which I did not. Rep then instructed me to use a flat head screw driver or butter knife to push up on the doorbell. I secured a flat head screw driver and proceeded to follow rep's instructions only to be told later that I needed to push the screw driver hard enough to remove the doorbell. Granted I have limited strength in my arm, I proceeded to do so, causing injury to my hand in the process (bleeding) of which I informed the rep. He stated "I'm sorry you hurt your hand" and proceeded to tell me to wait until he told me to replace the doorbell. With my hand bleeding, I attempted to replace the doorbell to no avail as I could not get it to "click". The rep then informed me that he would send out a tech for $59+ to remedy the problem to which I told him that this was not acceptable as I had incurred injury trying to follow his directions and I asked to speak to a Supervisor. Needless to say, after waiting for more than 5 minutes with a bleeding hand, I was transferred to "Zy" who stated she was a Supervisor. Never have I felt so disrespected! I had to on numerous occasions request that "Zy" allow me to speak, since I was the customer, as she consistently spoke over me reiterating that my problem sounded like an electrical one since I had called reporting that my doorbell had no lights (this is not why I called). As stated earlier, I called as a result of my app informing me that my doorbell was not responding. After much unnecessary dialogue with "Zy", it was concluded that the $59+ fee would be waived "this time" with the understanding that the tech was not an electrician. I impressed upon "Zy" how her continuous reminder was not necessary as I have been a CPI customer for nearly a decade and am well aware of CPI's policies regarding service charges which in this situation, I did not believe was warranted. CPI, I am seriously disappointed in the customer service, or lack of, that I received during this interaction. I have referred others to you in the past. Not sure if I will be referring anyone els.

Brian R was exceedingly helpful in resetting the smoke detector that malfunctioned.
Having had two major shoulder surgeries, it took a few minutes to manage removing the detector and once it was operational, returning it to functioning position.
Brian is professional, courteous, patient and thorough. CPI is fortunate to have a team member of his caliber.
