So now that Cracker Barrel has decided to cut their own throat with the now recent updated logo, stripping of Americana Wall Art, and what has become substandard food, I safely state, BYE. Don't prete... See more

This place for me always gave me good…
This place for me always gave me good memories to think about recall and basically a good attitude about going to until just recently in Tulsa Oklahoma. Two locations to failures. I believe it has turned into the same old same old pumping out day by day subpar food and it seems like they cannot find good help probably because they don't pay for good help.
Sides are not of the same quality....
Last time my husband and I went to Cracker Barrel we felt that the quality of the country side dishes were not the same. We felt like some of the sides were straight from a can. Very disappointed....
On April 27
On April 27, 2025 between 12pm and 2pm, my family of eleven visited this Cracker Barrel in Ocala, 3801 SW College Rd, Ocala, FL 34474-5725, expecting a wait for seating--but the 45-minute to an hour delay for food was unacceptable. My mother and stepfather, both with health conditions, weren't even offered biscuits until I requested them.
The waitress admitted every table around us, including another large party that arrived later, was served first. Yet, the manager falsely claimed we had only waited 25 minutes--dismissing our concerns.
When our food finally arrived, it was terrible--burnt pancakes, hair in my nephew's meal, cold grits, and pecan French toast with no pecans or toppings. The manager offered no real solution and simply blamed the cooks.
Having visited many Cracker Barrel locations, this experience was disgraceful. We felt ignored and dismissed.
Corporate must intervene--not to fire anyone, but to enforce proper training and accountability. No customer should ever endure dishonesty, poor service, or subpar food at a Cracker Barrel restaurant. This was not just a bad meal--it was an embarrassing failure of customer service, food quality, and respect for patrons.
Terrible Service
Attitude from receptionist about sitting us close to door (husband 100 percent disabled Veteran) asked for breakfast menu reluctantly webt and got one. No sight of waitress so finally flagged down someone and asked. Said someone would be with us as she kept walking. Guess she was too busy chatting with her friend - decided just to leave. Don’t know why we go to this Cracker Barrel. Always a disappointment. Never again. Cracker Barrel on Stewarts Pike, Nashville Tn
I’ve eaten at plenty of Cracker…
I’ve eaten at plenty of Cracker Barrel’s in my time and they consistently have poor food and horrible customer support! Don’t eat this garbage
For starters the customer service was…
For starters the customer service was good. My complaint is about the food I have never had a bad experience with cracker barrel before, but today was a first.. the pancakes were tuff, hashbrown casserole was just awful, and the beef tips lack of seasoning. I don't know if it's the cooks but hopefully it improves because honestly I love the restaurant.
You Have Made The List. Congratulations
You have made the Hitlist. Congratulations!

I frequent the Cracker barrels in Rialto. The host, Cameron is an amazing Greeter and Host. He is always professtional and very polite. He always greet the customers with a smile. He is an excellent choice for Cracker barrel.

The Alcoa
The Alcoa, TN location is absolutely horrible. After speaking to Ashley the manager I made a grave mistake. I have had spinal surgery and can not drive right now, I placed an order through door dash. Door dash did their part delivering it to me but the problem was the store/restaurant did not assemble my order correctly. The person checked off on the receipt as if they did, not true. No one wants to take responsibility, Ashley at store claims she can't do anything due to 3rd party. The chat associates only throw "comp" replacements. I have not asked for. I did get an email from Bertha who advised she is unable to give me a refund?! I have never asked for a refund or a comp meal. Very frustrating that no one will address the issue. Honestly with all the issues I have had trying to get this resolved I will no longer dine with cracker barrel. Its not worth the stress.
Great food and service
Great food and service, however they don't accept military discounts like most restaurants in the area.
Cold food
We dine at the Cracker Barrel in Morristown TN.
Our soup was very cold, the steak was tough with too much fat, the smash potatoes was also very cold. The waitress was nice and very sorry that we had a bad dining experience.
Order arrived incomplete
Four of us went to the Cracker Barrel on Remcon in El Paso, TX for breakfast. Our order was taken about 9:05AM. About 9:20 the waiter brought of 3 of the meals and said that mine would be right out. At 9:45 we asked the waiter where my breakfast was and he said again it would be right out. At 10:08 after the other 3 were finished with their meal and the table had been cleared my breakfast arrived. I told the waiter to take it back as it was too late as everybody was ready to leave and that I was leaving to go to another restaurant to eat. Which I did.
CB ROUNDROCK TX
We just went to Cracker Barrel at exit 254 in round rock Texas. I asked for a third egg they indicated that it was $1.30, I said OK
They came back and said it wasn’t $1.30 it was 249 so I told them no I don’t want the third egg because that translates to over $30 a dozen
When they delivered breakfast, it had 3 eggs
A girl came out and said that she would take it back, and I asked what she was going to do with it and she said she was going to take one egg off and I said what are you going to do with that egg and she said put it on another plate for someone
Then the waiter came out and I told both of them wouldn’t it be the easiest thing to do was to say we made a mistake with the third egg and they’ll be no charge for it. Sorry about the inconvenience.
But no these snowflakes and cupcakes said we will remake the whole plate
And I said what sense does that make you’re going to waste all of the food and my wife will have to sit here and eat her breakfast alone while I wait on mine.
Based on the fiasco and the lack of any leadership between the servers and the manager who I spoke to, we simply said sorry we’ll just go somewhere else, we got up to leave.
As we got to the front door, a lady asked how our visit was and my wife indicated that it was pretty bad
She asked why and we explained the fiasco and she said let me call the general manager. The general manager’s name was JOOSEP VAIKSAAR
He came out and introduced himself as the general manager and we explained the situation and he said well first off he has a server in the back that’s crying. I’m thinking over what, an egg
Our youth cannot handle a decision as to what to do with a plate and taking food off a plate from a customer and putting it on another customer’s plate might be a violation of health code in the first- degree.
More importantly, what does it say about any of the food that’s coming from the kitchen that the servers would make that kind of a statement.
Having had their general manager tell us that he was more concerned about their feelings than he was the fact that a customer had not been treated appropriately
For some reason, he thought that it must be my responsibility to train their servers and their assistant managers, as opposed to being a customer who comes in, orders a meal, enjoys it and pays for it i’m not sure what he wanted me to do.
Maybe it was to come in and build them a safe space in case anybody in the restaurant ever had a complaint.
Anyway, now we know how cupcakes and snowflakes operate in this world without supervision they can’t make a decision
And when the general manager is more concerned about the waitress being upset with the customer, walking out the door and never coming back, any wonder why we have problems in this country and why the kids don’t wanna work at a job in an office and can’t deal with the fact that they don’t know what to do with an extra egg?
I apologize if I sound like a cupcake and complaining about this, but I suspect there are some people that will say this review is a crock of crap and there are others that will no longer go because they don’t need this.
Yes it is a crock of crap, no customer should be dealt with this, management had no idea how to solve the problem and when they were questioned, they got defensive stating You need to be respectful to me. I was respectful, I walked in the door. I ordered $30 worth of breakfast and I was served garbage treated badly and I walked out the door.
What else does the restaurant expect me to do? What else does the restaurant expect of a paying customer?
God help this country and God help these little entitled people. Times like these, we fully understand why the good Lord has a time limit on our life. We simply couldn’t live with what’s going to happen in the future
Food was WAAAAY too salty
Food was WAAAAY too salty! And greasy. I had the steak hashbrowns plate. The meat in particular was far too salty. I should not have to ask for the elimination of salt. If I want salt I would add it. The biscuits were fine, as was our server. My wife had the strawberry cheesecake pancakes. Her reaction was it was OK. Unfortunately, Reno is a town noted for its breakfast places. We won't make Crackerbarrel a frequent stop. They also need some omelets on their menu.
The absolute worst
The absolute worst. I ordered the chicken and dumplings and side of turnip greens. The greens had burnt taste and the dumplings just tasted like flour and water no flavor whatsoever. I will never eat there again.
Smoke weed?
Does Cracker Barrel let it's employees smoke weed? This is the THIRD time these insipid slugs got my order wrong, moved slow as hell, and just had the dullard look of someone who just finished their pot break. Their mashed potatoes were runny and tasteless (and I didn't even order mashed potatoes) - I have literally had better mashed potatoes in Marine Corps chow halls and the VA hospital. The hiring manager seems to be incapable of finding employees with at least as much enthusiasm as the average sea cucumber. The food is ALWAYS cold, despite half of the tables being empty. Pearland, Texas location.
I was at Dry Ridge, Kentucky
I was at Dry Ridge, Kentucky Cracker Barrell on Thursday, February 27th, 2025. Carla greeted my friend and me and showed us to our table. We requested a different table near the window, and she obliged. Her smile was remarkable. She took our drink order and return promptly and we were ready to order our food. She was friendly and witty and we kept up a banter between us as we ordered. She brought our order, and I asked for more butter and jelly which she returned with promptly. She checked on us three separate times to make sure our drinks were full and to see if we needed anything else. If you know Carla who works as a waitress at Cracker Barrel restaurant in Dry Ridge, Kentucky at the end of February, 2025, she deserves a raise. If I were 50 years younger, I would have gotten her number. I asked her where her name tag was, and she told me she refused to wear it until they put 4 stars on her apron and embroidered her name on it! We had a great time! Cracker Barrell needs to clone her!
On February 23
On February 23, 2025 my son, daughter law and myself went to cracker barrel on JTB in Jax Fla, we got there at 7pm and got up and left at 8:30 still didn’t have our food we ordered, the waitress must have been new kept coming back and apologizing, ordered coffee, it was lukewarm, took so long to get drinks, broight out biscuits at 8:15, they were burnt, asked to speak to manager, no one came so we got up and left, never had bad service here before, very disappointed with Cracker Barrel, the people next to us was upset too, they left also, not sure what was going on because they weren’t busy
Family meal not worth the money!!
Just purchased a family meal with grilled chicken strips and sirloin tips. The menu indicates that it’s for a family of 5. The side items would serve 5 people. But the meats, it definitely would not serve 5 people. For the amount of money spent on this it’s definitely not worth the money. Plus the food was cold. No dipping sauces were offered with the chicken. Not worth the money.
Horrible
Horrible, over charged and pathetic waitress. Cold eggs, and room temperature food. $71.00 for 3 adults and a child under 2 that ate off his mothers plate. Waitress says, Sorry, we're just busy busy. Absolutely pathetic.
