Cratejoy is a scam.
Sends emails under other forms of companies with use of different fonts. Once you click and put in you details it's a subscription and MUST BE AVOIDED.
Block if you can.
DO NOT ACCEPT THIS COMPANY. Hard to get money back if you can

Please do not order from CrateJoy under…

Please do not order from CrateJoy under any circumstances. This company is a complete fraud. I placed an order for 3 subscriptions (6 months each paid in full) a week before Christmas. I was charged almost $900 for all 3 subscriptions. I have heard NOTHING SINCE. Nothing has shipped out - all of them were suppose to ship out before Christmas. I’ve contacted CrateJoy 6 times and I’ve been ignored. I’ve now reported the CrateJoy charges as fraudulent and even emailed CrateJoy that I was doing so. I’m blown away at the audacity of this company!! And now the hope is my bank will get my money back.

Do not shop on CrateJoy. It’s sad but this has honestly been a slap in the face. Avoid at all costs. If you see something you like on there, go directly to the vendor not through CrateJoy.

Cratejoy is a scam

They couldn't even deliver a gift card after taking my money, let alone actually delivering something by post. And 10 days later, I'm yet to receive a response from these scammers. Had to dispute the money with my bank and waiting to see if I can receive back my money.

There is absolutely NO customer…

There is absolutely NO customer service, so if there’s an issue, forget it. I had to file a complaint with the BBB. There’s no phone number that anyone answers, emails get a robo response, and there’s no chat. I couldn’t log back into their site once I placed the order, the password “reset” doesn’t send you a email password reset. Buyer be warned. Better to deal with the merchant directly that you want the subscription from.

Took money and never sent goods

Ordered a gift on November 25 and have not heard back from anyone minus the fifteen emails a day about guaranteeing delivery. Emailed twice and these people never responded, feels like a scam, acts like a scam, then it’s probably a scam.

Thanks for ruining Christmas crate joy you miserable company

Beware - This site could be Fraudulent

I ordered a Craftjoy gift card online as a unique Christmas gift, but it turned into a frustrating experience. Despite receiving a confirmation, I never got the promised email with the gift card. After 15 minutes, I contacted support via chat and submitted a ticket. Two days and multiple follow-ups later, I still have no gift card, just instructions to submit more tickets or request a refund. Requesting a refund for a gift card I never received is deceptive and potentially indicating fraud behavior. The only thing they managed quickly was charging my credit card.

Warning about Cratejoy

I have cancelled my account with Cratejoy but they continue to charge my account. There is no ph number to talk to a real person. It shows that my account is cancelled but they continue to send products and charge me for them. I have messaged them to no avail. Don’t get started with Cratejoy or you may regret having an account with them

Absolutely horrible

Order 4 subscriptions for multiple family members. Pictures and items were not as described and were told we will have a 12 months subscription. This site is criminal with what they promise and what you get. Horrible save your money and go anywhere else. Santa brings a lump of coal

Thieves

Ordered a 12 month subscription, single purchase only. Received one shipment, then nothing - shipping address was modified by cratejoy. Multiple attempts at contact have failed, and now subscription is showing it will auto-renew. Based on reviews I’m seeing, fully expect to be fighting a credit charge in a few months time despite canceling repeatedly.

Im a subscription box addict, and Cratejoy is a great place to discover new boxes! However, sometimes it can be tough to get help when I encounter an issue so I often just prefer to order from the brand's directly but still use Cratejoy as a discovery platform

Find an Independent Subscribing service, NOT Cratejoy

DO NOT USE CRATEJOY!!! They will bill you and then not send the merchandise.
I, to be clear, subscribed to the Chic and Unique box, which is a seller within the huge Cratejoy bird's nest of bad management and the customer service (Chic and Unique) was WONDERFUL when there was a mixup. I got a full refund. The thing to do is go directly to the Chic and Unique website, which is run separately and stay the hell away from the Cratejoy Mothership which is run by pirates and robber barons.

NOT SO GREAT CRATEJOY.

If I could rate it less than a 1 I would. I ordered something for Mother’s Day, a one time purchase. I didn’t create an account but ended up having to to do so to try to cancel the next month. It wasn’t cancelled. I was charged for another “crate” . I have requested a cancellation on their website several times and nothing happens. Now they are attempting to charge me for another “crate”. It’s RIDICULOUS!!!

I would give this company a zero if I…

I would give this company a zero if I could. I purchased a subscription to Down the Rabbit hole box. I got my first box, but have not gotten any further boxes. When I attempted to contact the seller I get no reply. On contacting Cratejoy I was told they would contact the seller and so far nothing. I plan to report them to the Better Business Bureau if I don’t hear anything in the next few days. What a scam- I wished I would have researched them better before purchasing this subscription box.

Something shady is going on

I used Cratejoy to get a Club Tac box. It showed up and was in a regular postal service box and not a Club Tac branded box and it turns out it was missing items. I ended up contacting Club Tac directly to see if what I received was correct and as I thought it was not. They could see my linked subscription from cratejoy but something shady is going on over at cratejoy and I did not receive what I should have received. Thankfully Club Tac is going to fix it and send me the correct items and then migrate my account directly to their site instead. The represenitive even told me that it should have been in a Club Tac specific box and not a USPS flat rate box. I will not trust cratejoy for any future subscription boxes.

RIP OFF

This needs to be investigated and shut down. There is no way to cancel subscriptions through sellers. The seller directs you to email them or cancel through Cratejoy, however when you go to the Cratejoy site to cancel, no subscriptions are listed to even cancel. Next thing you know you have big charge for a subscription you didn't want. Don't do it. Not to mention- what was originally bought as a trial was not worth it at all!!!

UPDATE:
To be fair to seller even though not mentioned I was able to contact them and did get a full refund and cancellation of the item. However, I still maintain that Cratejoy, as a market platform, absolutely should not exist.

Rip off book box subscription

I subscribed to Down the Rabbit Hole Book Box March 2024.It is supposed to be a monthly box. So far I have received one box. I paid for a six month subscription and am now out $300.00+ I have contacted Cratejoy about this, and was told to contact the seller about the problem. I have contacted the seller several times, and never received a reply from them. Of course, the cost of the subscription has already been charged and paid from my bank account. I am not sure what to do next. I suppose I could ask for a refund, but I would rather have my subscription. Please advise. I have other subscriptions from Cratejoy with no problem, but this DTRH subscription seems like a scam, especially since it is so expensive and I have paid in full ($300.00+) up front. I would caution others not to buy this subscription. It is a rip-off.

I ordered a subscription from Cratejoy. I got 2 months delivered over 5 months. During that time I tried to contact Cratejoy to help in which they told me to get with the seller. In using their "contact seller" process, I never got a response from the seller. I finally requested a refund. Cratejoy gave me the refund, but shorted me 2 months. At that time Cratejoy basically said argue it with my bank. Really? I sent the complaint to BBB and they ignored them as well. You can see Cratejoy as a company doesn't care about their consumer. They play the 3rd party innocence and collect money from all. As the middleman in this relationship they should take ownership of their sellers. If you get a good seller shouldn't be a problem. You get a seller who doesn't care, Good Luck!
