Creative Energy Ltd installed 15 charging points at one of our schools. The process was very well organised from start to finish and we are already generating revenue on the back end.

Zeb and team did and a great job installing a heat pump, solar and battery system. They really went above and beyond in 3 aspects - working together with our builder as we had building works ongoing during the install, - squeezing the plant room/water tank into a very tight space, and helping to track down a longstanding issue we had with loft radiators that were not working.

I had a fantastic experience with Zeb and the Creative Energy team. Having been told by multiple other Heat Pump installers that my job was too complex for them, Zeb and team found a solution that I am extremely happy with. With limited options on where to place my heat pump, they thought outside of the box on how to make the installation clean and how to keep the pipework as hidden away as possible. My house is now nice and toasty at all times and my energy bills are about a third of what they used to be. I would have no hesitation in recommending Creative Energy to anyone looking to install a heat pump.

The air source heat pump that Zeb and his team at Creative Energy installed in our Victorian terraced house has now been operating for two years. It has been faultless and has enabled us to remove the gas supply to our house. At our yearly service, Zeb reviewed our energy consumption and recommended a tweaking of our settings, which has helped to increase the benefit of our conversion. From their initial quote through installation and beyond, the Creative team have proven very helpful and responsive.

Disappointing. I did a heat loss calculation and initial estimate for a heat pump with Creative Energy. However, I was not impressed with their thoroughness which led me to get several other opinions from other businesses.
- They proposed an oversized system 12kw vs 7kw proposed by other shops.
- They were going to forgo around planning permission which would have put our BUS grant at risk. Red flag.
- They proposed an incorrect cylinder (a horizontal one) for the heat pump which would have been incorrect. Another red flag.
- They spent only 15 minutes on site to do a heat loss calculation instead of the several hours that other shops did onsite.

I paid the £400 for their rudimentary heat loss calculation and am disappointed that I had to throw away my money on a business that doesn't do their craft well.

Avoid.

We used Creative Energy on personal recommendation after having a frustrating time with Octopus. They were very efficient, considerate and we are really pleased with the finished system. So far we seem to be paying less and the house is much warmer. Zeb was really helpful in suggesting a quiet heat pump and where best to site it. The team led by Danu were fully committed to getting the job done. We are using the Homely control system which works well with Octopus Agile- it is an ingenious system and easy to use. It is so much better than our old gas system.

Creative Energy Ltd exceeded my expectations with our air source heat pump installation. Professional, efficient, and cost-effective – I'm thrilled with the results and lower heating bills. The process was very smooth from the initial survey to handover, and the whole team were polite and respectful. A true example of how all companies should treat customers!

Zeb took his time to explain all the options and how everything works with an air source heat pump system for heating and hot water. We have only had the system in a few weeks, so it's difficult to say exactly how it will perform in the long term, but so far it is excellent and we get all the hot water we need with no problems. Considering the work involved, it's good value for money, and Zeb also applied for the government grant on our behalf.

I had Creative Energy install one of their renewables packages for my home in Oxford. Previously, we ran our large house and swimming pool with an oil field heating system. Creative Energy designed a complete system which provides heating via a ground source heat pump. Removing fossil fuels coupled with installing a large ground mount solar system means our bills have reduced to just 10% of what they were. A great experience all round.

Zeb installed a heat pump and associated underfloor heating for me in a late Victorian terrace in North London. He took over the job from a nationally operating company that I'd hired four months earlier and that in that time had displayed an absolutely staggering level of incompetence and cluelessness. I sacked them eventually and, my lesson learned, went for a small locally operating outfit. Zeb was fantastic - he went to work very quickly to catch up on lost time and devoted serious thought to the question what system would be best suited to my house. Despite being touted as the solution to all of the country's ecological commitments and problems, making heat pump-based systems in old houses work is not trivial and there's no one-size-fits all solution. So I was very relieved to finally have found a competent person who was happy to explain what was happening at any time and who designed a solution specifically for my house. We settled on a water-based (if that's the term) underfloor heating system whose pipes are bedded in a kind of concrete screed that acts as a battery and stores the warmth from the pipes. Zeb and his team cooperated very well with my builders to install the system. It's now been running for a few months and it's a wonderful experience - even gentle warmth that spreads into all corners of the house and makes cold feet a thing of the past.

Zeb was courteous, informed, communicative, and could always be reached at short notice. His prices were reasonable and he explained all bills carefully - I was never in the dark as to what was being charged for what. I eventually hope to install solar panels on my roof to make the house as energy self-sufficient as possible and have no doubt that I'll go with Zeb again for that job. I recommend him and his company very highly.

Creative Energy installed a ground source heat pump for us and battery storage integrated to our existing solar panels. From the start Zeb was excellent at keeping us informed about the process, listening to our many questions and patiently answering them. Zeb is also good at thinking outside the box and coming up with solutions to the challenges. Installation was completed in probably the worst two weeks of the winter, with three named storms coming in close succession. Inevitably, considering the circumstances, there were a few teething problems, but the work was completed in time for us to apply for the renewal heat incentive. Zeb and his team were professional and completed the work to a high standard. We would definitely recommend Creative Energy.

Creative, in particular Zeb, were open to all ideas and suggestions and were not confined to one or two particular equipment suppliers, which we had found with other potential contractors. This enabled us to choose the heat pump we had selected. His help in the selection process was much appreciated and his flexibility, compared with alternative contractors ensured that we had the system we wanted rather than the one other contractors wanted us to have.
The installers were top quality. They were polite, sensitive to the fact that we had only recently had to redecorate, and very professional – clean, tidy and respectful of the house and our few requests.
I have left it a few months post installation to see if anything has occurred to call Zeb or his people back, but the system has, to date, worked exactly as expected – and quietly, one of our main criteria.

Zeb at Creative Energy changed a number of sockets and switches for us and was so quick and tidy. He supplied some items for us and made sure they matched with what we wanted. We were so impressed that we also asked him to replace two extractor fans, which he supplied and fitted (even though they were awkward he got them done no problem). All for a great price considering the level of workmanship. He was always there when he said he would be, quoted everything in writing, was so friendly and even great with our dog who was always trying to see what he was up to. We won't hesistate to call Zeb again when we need any electrics, he is a true professional.
