Deceptive Process and Hidden Requirements

Unfortunately, my experience with this service has been disappointing and felt more like a data-collection exercise than genuine assistance.

The process required handing over large amounts of personal and financial information, including bank statements and employment details. Despite this, the company then conducted a credit check — leaving a mark on my credit profile — only to request an ATO Notice of Assessment at the very end. If this document is mandatory, that should have been made transparent from the start, not after applicants have provided sensitive data and undergone a credit check.

The lack of upfront clarity is what I consider deceptive. If I had known from the beginning that a Notice of Assessment was non-negotiable, I would never have applied. Instead, I was left feeling misled, with my personal information collected and my credit record impacted, but no real service delivered.

This kind of hidden requirement should be clearly disclosed in the application process or terms, so customers can make an informed decision before committing. I know I am not the only one who has had this experience, and it reflects poorly on the company’s transparency and practices.

I took out a small loan with credit 24…

I took out a small loan with credit 24 as I had an emergency regarding my dog was attacked in a horrific dog attack, unfortunately I didn’t have the extra funds needed for the extensive damage done to my dog and the vets bill was quite high . I was absolutely beside myself, not knowing what to do, then I decided to apply for the first time for a credit loan , which was received within a day a received the funds into my bank the next day . I would highly recommend credit 24 to my friends or family. Thank you so much for making a stressful situation so much easier than first thought .

Stay clear of this fraudulent company

Stay clear of this fraudulent company. Not only do they charge extremely high interest, but steal from your account with extra fees each fortnight. For example they have your consent to withdraw from your bank account. They are making the withdrawal but then charge you a fee for being late. Makes no sense at all. I will never again use this company that steal from vulnerable people that are having financial hardships only to be caught out by another loan shark that has no morales.

To clarify, repayments are processed via direct debit on the agreed due dates set out in your contract. A late fee may only apply if a repayment defaults - this means the scheduled payment wasn't successfully processed on the due date due to insufficient funds or another issue.
It's also important to note that direct debits can take 2-3 business days to clear. During this time, the invoice may appear as open in your Self Service account while the payment is still in flight.
You can log in to Self Service at any time to view your full repayment history and any fees associated with your loan. If you believe a payment has been incorrectly processed or a fee charged in error, please reach out to our team on 1300 293 000 so we can investigate further and help resolve it quickly.

Very sad to think Credit 24 don't help people during times of need... I made an application to borrow for just 30 days while waiting for a property sale and made that clear to them. Loaning money should come with a sense of humanity and helping people.

My actual star rating is ZERO. Do not apply for a loan with Credit24 unless you want a stain on your credit report. Genuine loan brokers will not pull a hard query on your credit report without passing internal reviews, thereby protecting your credit report from being adversely affected. By doing this, your credit score has a chance to improve, but not with Credit24 and similar services. By the way, I did receive the financing sought from another lender, and it was approved without damaging my credit score like Credit24.

After being approved through Driva for…

After being approved through Driva for a personal loan of $10,000 it then being transferred to credit24 I was told that I would receive an email shortly from Credit24 however received no such email for them credit24 approve me for $2200 which is nothing close to what I had asked for , I then rang credit24 and they was useless and ended up hanging up the phone on me, I rang back and the credit 24 worker I got through too the second time told me it was for security purpose and once I accepted the $2200 the loan specialists would approve me for the requested $10,000 however $2200 went into my account, contacted Driva and they were so very helpful and said that they would dispute this current $2200 as credit24 approved conditionally with Driva the $10,000 I’m now in a bit of a rut as I had to sign the contract for the much lower amount as a security with credit24 however I would much rather exit the loan amount and look elsewhere as I have been tricked into this by credit24 staff and now have no leg to stand on if Driva dispute doesn’t have the outcome we hope.

False Advertising - Waste of Time - No Personal Service - Run By AI

After being referred to Credit24 through Driva—for a modest personal loan of a small amount, and following a long and detailed qualification process—I had to enter all the same information again into Credit24 on my phone in an online form, only to be instantly rejected without a single phone call or real person reviewing my application.

I have a good credit score, reliable income, no overheads, and was applying for a small loan to support career development. There's no reason this should have been declined so bluntly.

It's clear Credit24 is run by automated systems and offshore processes and people with no care for individual applicants or customer experience. Don't fall for their advertising—there’s no personal service, no transparency, and certainly no trust. – Just an Automated Rejection Loop

Deeply disappointing and a complete waste of time. I’d give zero stars if I could.

Much needed holiday

Much needed holiday
I really wanted to travel with my family to QLD in the school holidays, but bills were making it challenging. Credit 24 took away the stress of not having money for flights, sightseeing, car hire and a new iPad to document the trip. I have occasionally paid more than the required amount per month and it's a good feeling to know I'm in control of how quickly I can pay it back or stick to the schedule when money is tight. Only downside was the additional interest each month, but I am so grateful for the loan when I needed it most and have factored this into my repayments.
