I have just completed my 5 year IVA & I found this company very helpful and always there to listen to you and help. My journey with credit fix started really well, I had found myself in a difficult situation financially and reached out to them, the lady who I spoke to at first talked me through my finances and discussed how much I was paying at the time and predicted payments moving forward which I found extremely helpful. That however was the only positive interaction I had with credit fix, one year later all had been going well, I was paying £156 towards my debt then credit fix asked me for my last 3 bank statements so they could do a review which I knew was part of my contract, I had just been awarded £1000 from work which was in my bank account, credit fix reviewed my bank, recognised the £1000 and decided I could then afford to pay £340 instead, I called and disputed the increase in payments however was told by the very rude customer service advisor that the amount was non negotiable, I asked to complain and was told basically because of the one payment I was awarded it impacted my payments. 5 years later I was contacted by a company asking me if I could remortgage my home so that I could pay off my debts to credit fix, I was not aware or expecting this company to contact me so called credit fix to complain, again extremely rude member of staff responded saying you would have been told about it when you signed up, I asked for the call to be listened to however was told it wasn’t available, I was then told if I don’t re-mortgage I would then have to be in the IVA for an extra year, I challenged this saying I was told it would be finished after 5 years and that would be 6 years, again I was told there is nothing that could be done as I would have been told at contract stage which again I disputed saying I had not. I worked out all of my payments made to credit fix and asked them how much they were making from my debit, I was told their charges were £3500 for their work, I asked how much had gone to the creditors at that point and was told £8239, I then asked why at that point then had credit fix been paid £3815 and could not be given an answer only being told my payments would sort themselves out, again I asked why another years worth of payments were required if credit fix had received their payments and my creditors had, I was told there was still outstanding debt and I was contracted to the 6 years if I did not re-mortgage. Finally October 2025 I made my last payment to credit fix and thought finally I am done. Now April 2026 I am looking to move home only to be told there is a restriction on me selling my home, guess by who..that’s right CreditFix..a 40minute phone call, passed to 3 separate advisors to be told, so sorry we didn’t do our job right and close your account properly, we will escalate that for you, even though I explained I am in the last stages of my home move, there was literally no ounce of care given. My honest advice with this company to to stay well clear if possible.
