Davidson Barrel Vise The Davidson Barrel Vise is made from 2024-T3 aluminum and features four grade eight nuts and washers. This barrel vise will accommodate any barrel diameter from 0.800" - 1.5". There are two 3/8" predrilled holes on both sides of the vise to allow it to be secured to any flat surface with bolts or clamps. This vise is a very handy gunsmithing tool to have if you're a first time builder or an experienced one.

I don't have a lot of experience with barrel vises but this one seems to be well made. I removed a Savage factory barrel and reinstalled another. Gave a whack or two with a 2.5lb hammer and the barrel didn't move in the vise.
