Unfortunately, the "muzzle" end of the guide is not concentric with the "brush" end. This defeats the purpose of the tool, which is to guide the the brush "straight" into the muzzle.

guides the cleaning rod past the crown safely. The one draw back is the brass bushing on the inside is tight to the cleaning rod, it's so tight that you cant get a jag with a patch to fit through. You have to remove the tool from the barrel, slide it on the rod, put on the patch, and then slide the patch into the bore and then slide the tool on the barrel. The tool is a tight fit to the barrel which is necessary to properly guide the rod, but that means some jiggling is required to get the tool on with each patch.
