Set the length using a locking nut and then the length is set for the life of the machine. This is amazing compared to my other case trimmers. I should have bought this first.

The product is right from Girard and I think it's great they do an excellent product the only thing is the lock nut I change that to a Lee so I can tighten it and adjustable makes life a little easier p

I have used the Giraud trimmer for many years. I recently came into possession of hundreds of .308 Match cases that needed to be trimmed. Adding this holder to my collection was invaluable. The quality of the holder is impeccable, as was the time "on bench" being greatly reduced. Many thanks....

Works great, consistent length, chamfer and deburr every case and in less than the half the time. Could be a bit tighter fit to cartridge. Unfortunately when ordering I hit 6x284 instead of 6.5x284 so an issue there. But my fault. The 6.5 Creedmore and .338 LM with preset cutter head works as advertised.

Case holder is spring loaded. It repeatable allows case to be cut to the same size. I put a witness mark on the holder surface to help adjust the depth. This works great.

There is some play between outer and inner part of this case holder, i am not sure if this affects function of the product. Otherwise, looks like jewel.
