Product details

Starline .223 Rem Brass Cases (Small Rifle Primer) .223 Rem, .223 The .223 Remington is one of the most widely used centerfire cartridges today. Tracing its roots back to the .222 Remington, the .223 was designed to achieve certain ballistics for military use. The .223 Remington, when in its military form, is known as the 5.56x45mm NATO. The differences between the two being the pressures that they are loaded at and the chamber in the firearm itself. The .223 has established itself as an excellent varmint and target caliber. It dominates all other rifle calibers in competitions such as 3-gun, and has a dedicated following in several other sports due to its low recoil and accuracy potential. Those two attributes coupled with good velocity allow it to excel as a varmint gun also. When loaded at .223 Remington pressures, our brass is safe to use in any firearm chambered for .223 or 5.56x45mm. If loaded to 5.56 pressures, you need to use firearms labeled for use with 5.56mm. It can be unsafe to fire 5.56mm ammunition in firearms with a .223 Remington chamber. O.A.L.: 1.745-1.75 100 count by weight

Excellent brass. I am a wildcatter and am forming this batch into 7 TCU. No issues so far. Shipping was quick. One pic is a "before" showing the 223 brass and the first pic is an "after" showing the 7 TCU case ready to load and fire.

I typically use Lapua brass but was looking for something cheaper to use in gas guns. I tried some Starline and I am impressed. I will be using more in the future.

Outstanding brass. It's right up there with the premium "match" brands. Very consistent. Long life.

Starline .223 REM brass is great brass to build exceptional ammunition for your rifles. It will hold up to 10+ reloading, which saves $. Virgin brass is usually just short of the trim-to-length spec, which is rectified by the first or second firing. Starline is my go-to brass for all my reloading starting with new brass.

Have not done any work on the brass so I am not certain how it will turn out, but it sure looks good to start off with. Quality is more than likely rated as 5 star but because I have not worked or used it yet I gave it only 4; previous order of Starline 5.56 that I have used has shown to be excellent quality.
