Product details

Brand: Starline Brass

Starline 6.8 SPC Brass Cases (Small Rifle Primer) 6.8mm Remington SPC, 6.8 Remington The 6.8 SPC was designed for the military as a cartridge that landed between the 5.56mm NATO and the 7.62mm NATO to be used in the AR-15/M-4 platform. It loses very little magazine capacity versus the 5.56mm (25 vs. 30 rounds), but has better knockdown power without much more recoil. This caliber works very well in short barreled rifles and is an easy conversion for an AR-15, requiring only a barrel, bolt, and magazine swap. For someone looking for an AR-15 for hunting, this caliber is a logical choice, especially for recoil-sensitive shooters. Our brass is safe to use in both 6.8 SPC and 6.8 SPC II chambers. O.A.L.: 1.674-1.679 100 count by weight

Not all companies make 6.8 SPC brass, but I'm glad Starline does. Haven't had any issues with this brass.

Have been pleased with brass in general. Rim holds well to extraction. Primer pocket good for 4-5 high pressure or 6-7 moderate pressure rounds. Neck annealing is a good idea after 3-4 rounds. Always check oal case length and use a case/round check gauge to be sure.

I have used Starline brass in other calibers. The quality has been excellent. Though I have yet to use this 6.8 SPC brass, I have no doubt it is excellent as well, given my past experiences with Starline.

I ordered (at the moment) hard to find 6.8 spc virgin starline brass from creedmore the day after I ordered the upper from a well known arms company. I had the brass before I got the rifle to use it in. That's service, in my book.

The brass seems to be good to me. I weighed a few of the cases and they were within 2/10 of a grain.
