Very well made - panels are cut to fit well - venting material is durable - coat still feels "stiff" when strapped up. I shoot in the greater LA area - like the venting for hot weather - still can wear a sweatshirt under it for colder weather.

We recommend the ventilation as well. The heat can be brutal.
I would recommend having the ventilation panels put in. It will make a big difference in cooling during hot days of summer. The vents will take some stiffness out of the shooting jacket, but not too much.
