Brand: White Oak Armament

Lens Reducer and Butler Creek Scope Cap White Oak Lens Reducer assembly for the Hi-Lux XTC14x34 and the Athlon Helos BTR 1-4.5x24 Service Rifle Scopes. It also fits the Vortex Viper PST 1-4 scope and any other scope which takes the Butler Creek #14 eyepiece. White Oak's unique "ghost ring" design is a transparent lens with a chamfer around the center hole. The lens is transparent which allows a full field of view so you can still see surrounding targets and target numbers but acts as a ghost ring centering your eye in the hole. The lens is held in place by a Butler Creek lens cap (eye #14). To Install - Simply press the lens into the lens cap until it is against the shoulder inside the cap. It will be a snug fit, the snug fit ensures the hole is centered. Then install the lens cap on your scope as usual. Lenses should be cleaned with gentle soap and water using a soft cloth. DO NOT use ammonia-based glass cleaners.

I was skeptical if this was even necessary. I've been shooting without one my whole life but it sure seems like a great idea. After a few range sessions and a match I can say this product ensures a proper eye alignment with your scope each time you line it up. I like it a lot. Not only ensures alignment but aids in keeping your focus centered on your reticle where it should be. Have a new rifle with a new optic in the works so I'll be getting another one and may try a tinted lens as well.

Literally a Butler Creek cap with an insert. Used it for one cross the course match, so far so good

This lens functions as rear aperture with the scope crosshairs as the front post. The lens assists in aligning your eye through the center of the scope, especially in rapid fire. It's expensive for a plastic lens but it definitely works as designed.

Very useful device. I installed it on my Match rifle and shot a match last weekend. I felt like it definitely helped me keep my eye centered!

A bit on the pricy side for what it is. The Lens Reducer has small chips around the edges which shows a lack of quality control in both making and inspecting them.
