I've used the platform for the last year as our online fundraising platform through Active Networks. There is no phone number to contact customer support, only an email...which takes 24 hours to respond...which makes simple questions like how come this video is not uploading, take days to resolve. Raising funds for multiple charities should be easy and friendly to use, but the platform is not easy to navigate. Last year we raised $900K through 12 different events. If our registration platform offered another way to raise money, we'd take it in a heartbeat.

Extremely rude arrogant and unprofessional, avoid at all costs.

Complete an utter disappointment. No response from support.
Donating to a good cause was not the issue.
Entered the Metallica worldwired tour sweepstakes via donating on the Crowdrise platform.
Received an email from Kennedy@gofundme stating I had won the sweepstakes.( logistics was confirmed in the official rules) I verified my information as asked and It was again confirmed. ( I have the emails as stated in the official rules)I was told I would be informed the day before the concert where to go to get my prize. It Never happened.
The worst part is I had bought a plane ticket as I didn’t live where the concert was. Booked a place to stay, rental car, etc. Never heard from them again.
There is no number to contact them, it’s all via email.
I have emailed them every day since the day before the concert until now. NEVER received a response!!
I am unsure if anyone else has won the sweepstakes and been as disappointed as I am.
No response? Just give me a reason. I guess I just fell for their scam,
Beware if you donate for a chance to win and get confirmed as a winner. Maybe it’s their way to promote these fundraisers, but follow through on your commitment.
Won’t donate through this platform again, just due to the principal.
Complete ripoff! Complete disappointment and embarrassment as I had my guest as stoked as me.

I would like to commend CrowdRise, and in particular, two outstanding employees, Wes and Kate, for helping me navigate through some turbulent waters of trying to register for the Rock the Ridge 50-mile Endurance Challenge. Kate initially gave me hope that my problems could be resolved, and then Wes continued, through exchanging several e-mails in only a few days and through connecting me with others who could also assist me, to a most satisfactory and successful resolution. Wes was extremely prompt in replying to my e-mails, very patient about my less than professional technological skills, persevered through some thorny patches, and was most reassuring to me that my problems could, and would be, quickly straightened out. Aside from his evident expertise in his job responsibilities, Wes demonstrated a genuine concern in helping me overcome the obstacles that lay in the path of my fulfilling a cherished dream--to complete this daunting Endurance Challenge, while raising money for the very worthwhile Mohonk Preserve. I feel that Wes sensed how passionate and dedicated I am to the Challenge and that he would try to do everything possible for me to help me achieve my goal. As I have expressed to him in every way I know how, I am and will be eternally grateful to Wes for his caring, commitment, and competence. In my opinion, Wes is an invaluable asset to your wonderful staff.

We have been involved with the Crowdrise challenges for about three years now and it has been a great way for us to get donations and grants for our programs which have included funds related to our adult day card program for those with Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. We have received funds for meals, transport vehicles, and general public funding shortages. Also we received funds to support our Home Health Aide Training program. Thank you to Crowdrise and its wonderful staff for establishing and coordinating these great challenges which have helped us to continue to provide needed home care and adult day care services to the elderly and disabled in Ocean County, NJ.

I am blown away by how amazing CrowdRise is! I am in absolute AWE of the super hero size kindness and dedication of Wes and the customer Service Team at CrowdRise. As a first time fundraiser, I can honestly say they helped me with all of my user challenged technical issues and helped our little duck make a big splash in the upcoming Duck Derby! With the ease of telling our story and spreading the word through social media... our little duck #22 has raise more money than ever expected and could win it all!!

Here is our story:
I am the team leader of Duck #22 in the first annual Duck Derby with American Hotel Register Co. The Great Duck Race is happening January 16, 2017. It was my job to chose a charity and raise money for our duck! For every $100 Duck #22 raised, we would get another duck in the race to better our chances to win $2K in donations from American Hotel awarded to the duck that crosses the finish line first. They would also match the donations raised by the leading team, up to $1500.

I chose a charity created for an amazing little girl Livia Grace Stilke... her parents and brother created LivGracefully.org to keep not only her memory alive, but to give back in the true spirit of giving that was so important to Livia. They help raise awareness and offer financial support to find a cure for a rare disease called Cystinosis. 100% of every dollar raised will go directly to finding a cure and be given to Cystinosis Research Network in Lake Forest, IL.

Our little duck was up against big charities with large corporate sponsors... but that didn't stop her! Out of 55 teams she swam her way up to 3rd place with $2150 and counting in donation dollars. All teams combined - I am proud to say - our company has raised over $25K in just one week!

The Cystinosis Research Network (CRN) is a volunteer, non-profit organzation dedicated to supporting and advocating research, providing family assistance, and educating the public and medical communities about cystinosis. The CRN funds research and programs primarily through donations from the public, grants and fundraising events like this one.
Our vision is the discovery of improved treatments and ultimately a cure for Cystinosis.

The customer service from CrowdRise is incredible. I always get an extremely prompt response whenever I have a question, whether it be a quick fix or something complex. There was even a time when I had pieces of an idea, and with the help of the CrowdRise support team, they were able to figure out what I was saying from my vague idea and create an awesome competitive fundraiser. I love CrowdRise!

CrowdRise has excellent customer service!! They are very quick to not only respond but to help as well. All of my questions were answered efficiently and thoroughly! I look forward to working with them more in the future and would recommend this company to everyone!!

I cannot say enough good things about Wes and Kate at CrowdRise. I volunteered to help out a colleague who has brain cancer but who had decided to raise money for her former special education students at the school where she was principal. I started a site for an individual and then realized I had to set it up as a charity. So I needed help getting the school listed as a charity, then help with pointing folks to the correct site, and so on. These people are great - always happy to help, I never felt like I was asking a dumb question, and it just seems like it was their mission to make everything just right for me. That's not a quality I see a lot of from most online or real customer support situations I deal with. I heartily recommend CrowdRise to anyone who has a need of their services.

This was my first crowdfunding and as such had no experience using any other platform. I was anxious about doing a crowdfund ("What if it doesn't work!?") and spent a lot of time procrastinating by researching the different platforms.

There are some bad ones, some okay ones, and some great ones. Just like everything else in life.

I chose Crowdrise because I liked the idea of the person donating being able to give a little extra so all the donation goes directly to the cause.

This was a plus but just one of many incredible features.

The platform is amazing! It is simple and clear how to use it both for the person running the campaign and those giving. The interface from a backend perspective was simple but everything I needed.

For example, when someone donated I immediately got an e-mail and on the app could quickly send a thank you note. Maybe all the platforms do this but it was a great engagement tool.

Updates were easy. I was also easily able to add people that gave to me offline.

I loved the graphics showing my goal and how much I had reached and how long the campaign had been running.

In short, everything worked perfectly.

On a side note, I loved seeing the picture of Mallory Brown and those she is supporting when the app and/or website open. Yes she's beautiful, but her crowdfunds are inspiring and the expression on her face is always full of joy. A small thing but it always made me smile.

And finally, I'm sure at some point I'll get to meet Ed Norton (he started Crowdrise). I didn't know that until after I started using it. I'll get to meet him right??

Bottom line is that I was able to raise over $6,000 to help a Syrian Refugee Family get a car. This has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and Crowdrise made everything so simple.

So I created a CrowdRise fund for my Dad who passed recently and I was very careful to record the login info as I always am with new sign-ups, accounts etc. ... except I wrote down the wrong information which is unlike me but that night was kind of a rough one and I messed it all up.

Wes was my contact on CrowdRise chat support and he helped me in under three replies in spite of the fact that i assured him the wrong email address I gave him was the correct one ... now the point to take here is not that CrowdRise security is lax but that Wes knew exactly what he was doing :) Very refreshing.

Wes and CrowdRise ... logged in and everything cool. Thank you so much!

I cannot say enough about Crowdrise. We needed to raise $40,000 for this project Dance Across the USA - danceatusa.com and with their help it came true! It was easy for donors, we are able to track donations and people simply, and everything was transparent so people knew exactly where we were all the time. Thanks Crowdrise, for everything!!!

I have never set up a fundraiser or utilized a website to raise funds. I really wasn't sure what I needed to do. When I visited CrowdRise,it was quite a simple process. I made mistakes along the way and had many, many questions but I always received extremely prompt and helpful feedback from the highly knowledgeable staff. They fixed many problems for me and it was all done so easily. Their outstanding customer support and service has won me over. I feel confident CrowdRise will help our fund raiser reach our goals. I set up my account and had a TON of things I was having trouble figuring out and the crew at CrowdRise answered every question quickly and happily. I just started using Crowdrise yesterday, and I am already wildly impressed by it. The site was super easy to navigate, and setting up a fundraiser was unbelievably simple!! (no hoops to jump through, just straight and simple and to the point)
Also, when emailing the site (they have different fun little trivia you can email them the answers to for points) your responses are written by an actual human! It's so refreshing to know that your message isn't just filtered by a robot, and a personalized response is like talking with an old friend!! I would recommend this site to any and everyone, and it gets two thumbs up, five golden stars, an A+, and all that jazz!!

What a fun, fantastic experience I am having with CrowdRise! The CrowdRise team are always fun to work with and they make U feel like U are the center of their FUN and U are the most important thing to them. I love the little whimsical quips and messages all over their communications. Super friendly and quick customer service. Cool schwag, and most importantly an easy crowdfunding platform to work with. Both the mobile experience and website environment are easy to use, feature rich, and simple to share on your social media platforms. I am almost at my goal of raising money for our local organization (The Matthews House, Fort Collins, CO - BTW) and I dont think our teams could have been so successful without the CrowdRise experience and their team. I look forward to using CrowdRise again and again!

I have worked with Crowdrise for 2 different organizations that I have been a part of. I spent extensive time researching the options for what would be the best platform out there. As a a scrappy non-profit that usually meant the bottom line came down to the lowest fees. Crowdrise not only had those, but also provided the most top-notch customer service out there. As someone who needed assistance with our campaigns, Crowdrise always had customer service people that you could reach right away, that always helped solve every problem. Plus, they are like, real humans. I could not recommend a better service that Crowdrise.

The sense of humour involved in every email update made my first time crowdfunding experience super fun. Attuned to the fact that we're collectively skimming the highlights, always a treat at the end if I kept on reading. And the film quotes. And the confetti. And the customer service. Probably the best customer service experience I've had to date. Friendly, engaging, and highly knowledgeable, Crowd Rise's helpers are awesome! Especially Wes! This is all in addition to the wonderful service Crowd Rise performs for crowdfunding endeavors.
