I keep hoping and emailing trying to get to a correct invoice total.
I don’t want to pay any shipping costs as I am hopefully going to collect all the goodies from Ireland, and hopefully very soon please CRUA!,

We recently purchased our cocoon from Crua and were able to use it on a camping trip with friends. Our cocoon set up easily and we placed it inside our existing larger tent from another company. On this trip, we unfortunately experienced a freakish storm with sustained winds of over 40 mph, and gusts in the 50/60mph range. Happy to report that our cocoon was the saving grace of the trip as we (my two young boys and I) took refuge inside and felt protected from the elements as the storm raged on around us. We couldn't have been happier inside the cocoon. Although the weather was difficult, our cocoon made it tolerable. I couldn't recommend the cocoon enough!

Easy to navigate and instructions were clear and precise.

The tent was amazing! However after going down some rocks I noticed the bag for the tent got torn up a bit after only the first hike

I’ve used the Crua Hybrid Set a dozen nights at multiple sites while motorcycle camping in a variety of weather conditions in 2021. Hammock/tent, rain fly, mattress & sleeping bag are ALL thoughtfully designed & well-made with quality materials. The product videos were helpful, delivery time was good, and the company & customer service, from my experience, has integrity & pride in its reputation. I would not hesitate to buy from Crua again. The Crua Duo Maxx is a very good tent in just about every way. I loved it. It's durable and easy to set up and functional in every way I'd want. But I'm not sure about its ventilation. I used it all summer on a cross country camping trip from coast to coast--with some nights in the forties and some in the seventies. My wife and I would wake up to wet walls almost every morning. I'm not sure why. The tent is just as dry as it claims to be, as long as we're talking about keeping the rain OUT. But we often woke up to wet walls (from our own breath/body heat). I wonder if the chimney style ventilation seems to have a design flaw somewhere.

After posting this review, however, Niamh from Crua reached out and talked to me about my issue. She said she'd never heard a similar complaint. So maybe what I experienced is a one off. I don't know--but I was very impressed with her seriousness and her desire to help make things right. I like the tent--didn't want a return or anything since I plan to keep using it. She offered as much, but I wasn't interested since the positives were enough to keep me using it. I thought there was a design flaw, but if I'm the only one experiencing this maybe . . . I'm just full of hot air?

I ordered the Combo Maxx tent after doing a lot of research on it and was excited to use it this summer. Because of shipping delays, I did not receive it until four months later. During this time, my emails were always responded to whether they had new information to give me or not. After I finally received my tent and used it - I was amazed. Everything I had heard about the Crua products was true. The construction and materials are of the highest quality and all the small details have been thought out. After I shared with Crua how much I loved the tent, but was frustrated with my long wait, they did what it took to make me happy. I highly recommend Crua not only for their products, but their customer service as well.

Crua responded immediately to my overcharge on customs dues. They offered to reimburse me ,no questions asked. To be honest..this was caused by that cargo ship going aground...many companies had issues! Well thank-you Crua! I appreciate the service...and LOVE the products!!

I’ve been waiting on my order for months now. I order a crua tri back in mid July. The expectation was for the tent to be shipped in august, but received no update on my order until late August mentioning the delay is due to a quarantine in the area of where the poles are manufactured. I just received a call the following week confirming the tent is all ready to go and will be expedited to me directly from the manufacture that week but when emailed from the customer service in Ireland the following day, they said it will be an additional two weeks. I was excited to hear it’s on its way, but my hopes were too high I presume. If you’re planning a trip for colder weather, I would not plan until the tent has arrived. The communication seems to come from two different sources so there must be a disconnect somewhere regarding timeline/ expectations on ETA.

Super quality tent & cocoon! Can't wait to try it!

This hammock is high quality and I'm sure it will last on many camping trips. They've really worked out the kinks since the first model. I had some issues with the first model so Crua sent me a free hammock to replace it! The customer service was friendly, quick to respond and helpful. I love my new hammock so much that I bought one for my dad for his birthday. We're both avid hammockers and he loves the hammock as much as I do. Happy hanging!

We especially enjoy the patio. Nothing beats sipping a cold one on the Crua patio after mountain biking!

Wish they would use a different shipping company for Canada as the one used cost an additional $100 over what other options would cost.

I'm now in to year 3 of ownership, and this tent has not let me down one bit.
This summer we have endured some torrential thunderstorms and fairly high winds while camping, and this tent has once again proved to be a fantastic investment.
We have encountered other campers who didn't make the investment, and were cold, wet and annoyed that their holiday had been 'ruined' by the weather.
There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad equipment.

I bought the Crua Duo Max tent this summer to use on an 8 day sea kayaking trip in Glacier Bay National Park. It rains heavily here and can be very windy. I wanted a tent with plenty of room for 2 people with a large vestibule for wet gear. I compared big brand name tents against this relatively unknown brand(to me) and decided to try it. I was not disappointed. The tent was completely waterproof and the vestibule allowed plenty of space to leave wet gear and not take it into the sleeping area. I love that you don’t need a fly or a ground cloth. It is the perfect tent for me for sea kayaking adventures.

1 + 9 straight days in Crua Xtent Maxx with my wife and son in Hanko Archipelago, Finland. First night was with my son and daughter on a friend’s island using just the inside tent in the raised position. Very easy to pitch, has lots of room and obviously you get fresh air and see the stars. Lovely. Then in real use in the Archipelago. With my wife and son there’s not much room for gear but for sleeping there’s plenty and you can use the Culla inside it (have thus far only tried it at home). My wife and me switched between the tent and hammock so with only one adult and child there was enough room for gear and to sleep comfortably. There are three zippered ventilation openings for fresh air. During our trip it rained very heavily (one stormy day as well) on three days and nothing leaked nor were there even any condensation. Very, very nice. The porch mode is great and in the raised position there’s enough head room for an adult person to stand. To be honest I have easier tents to pitch and I consider Xtent a more technical tent but it does offer immense value with the functionalities, versatility and weather proofness. And after pitching it a few times it only takes a minute or two to have everything in order. I’m more a hammock person but I think I’ll use Xtent with Culla during Fall and Winter trips with my kids. As I live in Finland it does get really cold and it can rain a lot. I’m sure Xtent will serve us well and become a valued piece of gear. Thus far I’m impressed.

I recently purchased the Koala hammock and stand. The hammock is so lightweight, yet it can take the weight of our whole family, I was very pleasantly surprised by how strong it is. It also packs up very small, so easy for travelling.
I also bought the stand as wanted to be able to use the hammock in the garden, where we don’t have tree to tie it to. It’s so sturdy, very happy with it.

Happy to have received a Crua Duo tent we purchased. It arrived sooner than I thought it would and pleased to say that our first experience setting it up was a breeze. Looking forward to many happy weekends camping. Thank you Crua.
