Despite me & cruise.co.uk rep telling them days before the cruise excursion we would be docking at 9.30am, the excursion started at 8am so we lost over 20% of our 8hr excursion. No attempt was made to extend excursion time despite being back at the boat 3hrs before sail away. We even lost a 30-60m lunch stop due to time constraints. There were only 4 people on the excursion & all I got when I complained as replies was that it was not their fault, no-one else complained (only 4people lol) & sorry. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. STEER WELL CLEAR.

Arrived at Bruges port and looked for the Cruising Excursions representative who should have been holding a sign. There were 20 travellers looking for the rep but he was nowhere to be found.

There was a coach in the car park but when the driver was approached, on our behalf, by port staff we were told he would only take 8 passengers. We called Cruising Excursions emergency number but the staff were incompetent and the coach left the port with 8 passengers, leaving 12 of us waiting at the port trying to reason with Cruising Excursions and exploring alternative methods to travel in to Bruges.

Half an hour later the coach arrived back at the port with the first 8 passengers still onboard. This time the driver was allowing the remaining travellers to board.

All the stress and time wasted meant that we had significantly less time in Bruges than planned, so we couldn't do all the activities we wanted.

To make matters worse, the complaints team offered me a minor refund as a "gesture of goodwill". Cruising Excursions need to take responsibility for their multiple failures and pay compensation rather than offering gestures of goodwill and meaningless apologies.

Terrible experience with this company. Booked a tour, stood at dockside watching all of the ships own tours leaving and nothing came for us. Contacted them by phone from abroad and, they hadn't told us but they had cancelled due to lack of bookings. Took several prompts when back home to get refund. Had to give one star on here but they don't deserve any

This was the worst tour company I have ever experienced. I booked multiple tours with them and each tour ran at least 15 minutes because we were waiting for people that never arrived. This made us loose precious time in each port, making us rush through everything. The worst tour was in Rome. My tour guide was basically a glorify taxi driver he did not explain anything to us about Rome. When I ask him about something about Rome he would only change the subject or make a joke. When we arrive at Rome he gave us a map and told us that he will be back within hour. As for the food that was included in the package, it did not seem appetizing, it was not that good at all. On top of all this the driver wanted to leave early because he did not want to get stuck in traffic. When I complain to the tour company they said there was nothing they could do and was not willing to provide any type of compensation. This is the worst tour company I have ever experienced. I will not recommend this tour company to anybody because you truly do get what you pay for which is very bad service.

Booked several tours during our Cruise, instructions for meetings points for all tours were a bit ambiguous. They are not allowed into the port to be near the ship and you have to meet outside the terminal buildings. They failed to turn up in Majorca and would not refund the cost of the tour, they insisted they did turn up. Coaches supplied are a bit cramped. customer relations are not very helpful once you have paid your money. Strongly advise to look at alternative companies for any tours.

Awful experience with this company in Rome. The only excursion I organised prior to the cruise and it was a complete disaster - unhelpful information and staff. Much easier to use the tours that are at the port and book on the day as they are cheaper, easier and better organised.
