It was a wonderful experience going with Cruisin motorhomes. Sunil was of great heal. We were very skeptical as it was our first campervan experience and he gave us the right push to begin the trip with great positivity and enthusiasm. We are definitely coming back and recommend this to all the adventurers out there!! ✨✨✨

Had an amazing trip! Experiencing what this country has to offer with the freedom of a self contained campervan was a dream! The staff were incredibly helpful and professional. Thanks again Cruisin Motorhomes

Booked a 3 week trip with Cruisin Motorhomes. Would highly recommend. Very friendly staff (the British guy from Southampton) who provided some really useful recommendations for our trip. The vehicle we had was brilliant and would highly recommend booking with Crusin. Really good support provided throughout also whilst on the road.

What made the experience amazing was the staff at Sydney! We are sad not remember the name... But the Southampton (british) guy was awesome! So kind and polite made the experience extra smooth!
We are happy we were able to meet him

Overall, great experience so far.
2025, Caringbah to Brisbane, two weeks, almost new Fiat / Aviva 6 berth motorhome.
Pro
Almost new vehicle,we were the 3rd drivers
Excellent support provided for the toilet problem ( see below )
Well stocked with cooking utensils, didn’t miss a thing
Good quality outdoor table and chairs
Large fridge and keeps it’s cool during a long drive between onsite power
Control panel for power, water management is easy to decipher
Solar panel works like a charm
Water hose, sullage hose and power cable are long enough, can reach where they have to even if on the other side of the van
USB ports are in the right places
Light switches are on the lights themselves, no guessing which light will come on when I flip this switch
Contra
Toilet wouldn’t flush ( but see below )
TV mounted in the wrong place, doesn’t work and always in the way - not needed
The condensation from the AC seems to flow all over the roof and drip down wherever it finds an escape route.
Can’t understand all the negative reviews. We received fantastic support via telephone and mail for our toilet problem and although it could not be fixed on the road, they sent us some spare parts to try and more importantly provided a feasible and simple workaround for the problem. ( use the shower to flush the toilet )
We would highly recommend paying the extra for the better insurance package, guessing that this leads to you getting a newer vehicle.
Friendly and informative service when picking up the camper, but next time we will definately check the toilet ourselves
All good, compares very favourably with Maui and other companies we have hired with.

2 days off a year that we dropped back the campervan and STILL NO BOND BACK.
LAUGHABLE excuse of a company !!
EVER USE THE RELOCATION SERVICE
There is no other word to describe them but scammers!
My girlfriend and I did a relocation of a van from Sydney to Perth. When we picked it up, my girlfriend asked if we could pay for full insurance to avoid any issues, to which the employees responded that the car was already fully covered. Later, when I arrived, I asked the same question, and they gave the same answer: “If the accident is your fault, you are responsible; otherwise, we take care of it.”
While on the road, a rock hit the windscreen, leaving a mark. We immediately called them, and they reassured us that we were covered. When we arrived in Perth, we asked again, and they repeated the same thing.
A week later, they withdrew $600 from the bond without notifying us. Their response was that it was a “misunderstanding.”
Simply put, they are COMPLETE SCAMMERS! THIEVES!
We are starting legal proceedings with consumer protection services because they refuse to take responsibility or return the money
I recently did an 8-day relocation from Sydney to Perth with this company, and I have to say, it’s been a nightmare. Before picking up the vehicle, I read through the contract and decided to pay for full coverage because I didn’t want to risk being charged for any damages later.
When I arrived at the Sydney office, the lady told me that full coverage was included for relocations, which I thought was great. I paid a $1,000 bond and left, thinking everything was sorted.
However, a few days into the trip, a stone hit the windscreen and left a mark. I called Cruisin right away, and they told me not to worry about it and that I could fill in the forms when I returned the vehicle.
When I got to Perth, I filled out all the paperwork and asked again if I’d need to pay for the windscreen damage. For the second time, I was told I had full coverage and that I wouldn’t be charged for it.
A few days later, I get an email saying that only $422 of my $1,000 bond would be refunded because of the windscreen damage. I was shocked, considering I’d been told multiple times that I had full coverage.
I’ve emailed them several times, but the only response I get is a generic “sorry” with no real resolution. They’ve given me wrong information at every step, and it feels like they’re just trying to avoid responsibility.
It feels like they’ve misled me and are trying to steal from me. Now I’m looking into legal options because I don’t think they’re taking this seriously.
DON’T HIRE OR RELOCATE WITH THEM. I’ve had nothing but FRUSTRATION and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
If you are wanting a relaxing, fun, peaceful, stress free, enjoyable and memorable get away, I strongly recommend that you DO NOT hire a vehicle from Cruisin' Motorhomes.
We booked a Motor Home for 12 days in 9/2024. We had big plans for our wonderful adventure.
The Motorhome broke down 4 times in 9 days. During the heat of the day and at night.
When we last broke down roadside assistance couldn't help. We waited 2.5 hours for the mechanic who arrived at 6.30pm. He spent more than 30 mins working under the bonnet, the console, the battery and gearshift housing and ultimately told us it would need to be towed. The look on my face must have said it all. This amazing trip we had planned turned into the escape from hell, AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! He finally got us started and even though we still had 3 days left on our trip we decided we should head straight home to end the nightmare, and he advised us that the motor home had multiple faults so head straight home and do not stop.
I received an email from the company late that night stating that they were aware that the vehicle had an issue and that a replacement was available for pick up from their depot. Over an hour's drive on Sydney's roads and freeways was not something I was prepared to risk with an extremely unreliable vehicle.
It's been a real poo fight getting reasonable compensation from this company. Failures can happen but no one deserves to be treated the way we were. The constant worry of the motor home letting us down, possibly in a remote location meant that we had to re-plan our whole trip in order to stick to highways and built up areas, precisely what we had planned to get away from. What tipped us over the edge was the company's attitude. They told us the Fiat Dealership couldn't find a fault, basically intimating that we were liars, and hence offered less than $600 in compensation after paying over $3000 to hire this heap.
It was extremely important to us that others know what they are risking when booking with this company. Who wants to experience what we have, when you booked wanting a relaxing, fun, peaceful, stress free, enjoyable and memorable get away. We will keep spreading the word with social media and Media broadcasting. The experience was wrong on so many levels. Don't let this happen to you and your loved ones too.
We had some damage to the car. A local repair company thought it would cost around 800 dollars and they charged us 2500 dollars... I have e-mailed them about this situation 3 times now, not a single reply.
We rented a 6 berth motorhome from Cruisin' Motorhomes for 3 weeks in March 2024 with pick-up and drop-off in Sydney. Very comfortable when travelling with 3 people as you don't have to convert two of the three beds every day. Camper was less than 2 years old and fully adequate, although the GPS could use an urgent update. Pick-up happened at a busy time and took some time, drop-off went smoothly. And the deposit was back in our account after only 6 working days!
Worst experience, this company is full of crooks, had slight damage and paid the full bond to cover it. When I checked with an independent auto service, they estimated the repair cost to be about $1000, so I overpaid 5 times....never will use this company again
Great experience, drove up to Thredbo, managed to stay close to the slopes and had a great time with e the family.
Rented 2 Deluxe Motorhomes in December 2019 from the Sydney Depot; when picking up motorhomes, one lady was very helpful and pleasant, the other clearly did not like her job and did not give us a proper hand over and made it apparent that organising drivers on the paperwork was too difficult and not something she could help us with willingly. The yard guy was superb and made up for the reception lady's indifference, as he showed us all the 'gotchas' on the motorhomes and some tips on operating the vehicle. Motor homes were great! On return, got charged 2x $55 Cruisin admin fees for 2x $3 Sydney Harbour Tunnel Tolls as the RMS toll system failed to transfer data to my Linkt account even though the 2 rented vehicles were still associated with my toll account at time of travel. Would have been good if they just emailed me to pay the tolls instead of just charging my credit card on file, "as per agreement signed"; and they emailed me copies of the paid Toll Notices anyway when asked for them, so go figure! Also, accident processing was shady with minimal contact and updates and still ongoing. Some aspects of the business are good but customer service and comms. needs improvement!
09/03/2020: Just recevied a lawyer Demand Notice for pending court action to pay cost of damage to third party vehicle as the claim STILL has not been processed by Cruisin motorhomes claims department. We purchased Maximum Cover Package at $55/day for peace of mind and paid a $75 accident processing fee, but to date it has proved to be completely the opposite, still casuing us stress with this whole ordeal unresolved. Total lack of communication, responsibility and ownership of this case by the claims team and Crusin Motorhome management. Happy to take your money but not happy to do the right thing! Going to Fair Trading.
We have rented from other companies and the camper layouts and reliability may vary but what defined our experience with Cruisin from day 1 was DARLENE. We walked in to find her vigorously acting on behalf of two customers who were having an issue with the toll company. She then went on to improve everyones day one set of anxious foreign customers at a time.
We first were given a thorough run down on the specs and advantages of our deluxe camper. She had a professional no nonsense way of getting to the details while getting the distinct feeling she really cared about the experience we should get from our travels. She recommended campgrounds and seemed familiar with the concerns we might have about various locations.
We had to extend our holiday due to unforeseen circumstances and the switch over to the next smaller vehicle was seamless. Though the layout of the smaller hi top was not optimal compared to previous designs, Darlene (who was not responsible for the design flaws) helped us to understand the advantages of the newer model and made us feel better about the changeover.
We left some items behind and she has gone out of her way to recover them.
So to conclude, great holiday, reliable and well maintained vehicles regardless of design on the hi top and a customer experience that prompted a person that rarely writes reviews to rave about our contact person Darlene. Not just because of her interaction with us but because as we waited to be picked up after our second rental period we saw many receive the same treatment from this very capable woman.
No, we never met her before and may not meet again ... but as a headmaster of an International school, like our teachers I know she left many with more positive experiences than they might otherwise have had, and she may not get the benefit of her efforts as often as she deserves.
