Successful KYC verification removed

I've been a Cryptomus user for several years. In 2026 they removed my successful KYC verification for no official reason and without any notification. Also, now my country is blocked from KYC verification (it wasn't before), so basically they made it impossible to use my money.

I have started the process to withdraw my money with the help of Cryptomus support, but until I actually get my money back this stays here.

Update: Cryptomus successfully transfered my money to another crypto address. I'm increasing my review from 1 star to 3 stars.

I just used the site to make a payment…

I just used the site to make a payment with crypto. They provided the wrong wallet address when I tried to copy the address. This happened numerous times. I eventually made the payment, and it didn't go through.

There's always two sides to every story.

Like many others in the review section, I also had my funds blocked due to AML checks. The amount involved was $9,544, which represented my hard-earned savings. Naturally, I was furious and extremely stressed at first.

Initially, I accused the platform of scamming me. However, after taking the time to understand AML regulations, I realized that this was not intentional. As a centralized payment gateway, they are legally required to follow AML laws.

They asked me to provide the source of origin of the funds, specifically related to the transactions through my vendor who sold me the TRON. This was a very difficult and suffocating situation because the funds were received by my vendor, not directly by me, and I had no certainty about what documents even existed.

I explained everything clearly, showed all the proof I had, and clarified that the sender was a completely different person. I believe there was initial confusion, as it seemed they assumed the funds were sent from my own cold wallet, which was never the case.

After continuous communication and submitting the available documents, I’m grateful that the AML officer accepted my explanation. Special thanks go to PerfectPanel and one of their managers, who helped calm my anxiety, cooperated with the AML officer, and clearly explained what documents were required. Once I submitted them, my funds were refunded.

I strongly feel it’s important to show the positive side as well. If my funds had been permanently blocked, I would have expressed my frustration here. But in this case, they truly deserve appreciation for handling the situation professionally.

It’s also important to understand that AML fund blocking does not benefit the company either. If the source of funds cannot be verified, the money remains frozen and cannot be used by anyone. I learned this only after educating myself, including with the help of ChatGPT.

For transparency, anyone reading this can verify my frustration in their Telegram groups between December 30, 2025, and January 12, 2026. I was very vocal there under the name Jae. This is not a paid review, just a genuine token of appreciation.

If you are innocent, please don’t panic—Cryptomus will not take your money. They will refund it once the process is completed.

Trust the process and trust God. If it’s your hard-earned money, it will always find its way back to you.

Warning Do not use them unless you want…

Warning Do not use them unless you want to risk having your funds taken. They took my funds and have been holding them for over 2 weeks and their support department keeps giving me the run around. Horrible customer service and horrible experience.

Update: It's now been 3 weeks and still no funds. They have now stopped responding and their alleged Telegram or email support is useless. I've also now found many other people that have had their funds also stolen that have reported online. Do not trust these jokers without doing your research. You have been warned. If they do return my funds. I will post an update here. Let's see if they will honor their word or if it's all fluff to try and cover their dirty acts.

Cannot transfer USDT

Cryptomus completely blocks my money transfers due to the fact that KYC verification is not done and IT IS NOT POSSIBLE to do KYC verification in my country.

They will hold your funds

My company recent engaged with Cryptomus as our payment processor. Cryptomus started off fine but as soon as a large payment came in, Cryptomus held the money and has been uncoperative, stating AML and KYC policies against UK personnel.

Cryptomus do not block UK personnel from paying, however when they forced my customer to KYC, they claimed they couldn't process it as he was a UK citizen.

The payment came from the same wallet my customer has paid from multiple times. He paid between 50-300 USD each time without an issue. He made a larger payment and Cryptomus have blocked it and held it ransom for over 2 weeks.

Their policies, workflow & communication is absolutely shocking. We strongly recommend [removed] instead.

If they report this review as false, I am happy to provide every single piece of evidence under the sun that they have been uncooperative and borderline illegal in the way they handle customer's funds.

Absolutely despicable and do not make the same mistake I made by moving my payment processor to Cryptomus.

The project started scamming clients by blocking withdrawals and ignoring requests — not recommended.

I worked with this project for over two years, and there were never any problems: withdrawals were fast, fees were low — overall, it was a good project, the only one I trusted. But recently, I decided to accept payments from clients for a service. Several transfers came to my wallet, I sent some of them to another project, and from that project, I withdrew $1250 to my wallet.

When I checked my wallet — the transaction was blocked. No emails, no notifications — no one sent me anything or replied! My wallet is verified, other transfers went through without any issues, but apparently, the project has started to fall apart and scam its own clients.

Fortunately, it's only $1250, not the entire amount I planned to withdraw from this project!

I provided all the proof that I withdrew cryptocurrency from an official project with a license, and I had no issues withdrawing from it before. I showed all the evidence that the cryptocurrency was obtained legitimately, without money laundering or fraud. But the response was silence, they just say “please wait” and that’s it! No ticket number, no chat number, nothing.

I wrote to support by email — no answer! My manager simply ignores me for days, does not try to help, and does not respond.

I strongly do NOT recommend using this project. They have started scamming and deceiving their clients. To those who have not yet left this project, I advise you to seriously reconsider!
