The company is a scam and essentially robs sellers of what they consign. I submitted 3 items 8 months ago and customer service has not been able to provide an update on where any of those items are. I... See more

Great staff very friendly and helpful but not pushy. Great range of quality gently used clothes - good brands!

Like many other reviewers I’ve had an appalling experience as a consigner. Still waiting for payment for a Prada dress I consigned in September 2024. No one reached out to tell me that it sold – I followed up a year later and was told it had sold, though they couldn’t tell me when. I was promised payment “at the end of the month” in November 2025. I’ve chased them up several times since then and have been told “the accounting team is fully aware of the situation.” But the payment never comes through. Do not give CSD your clothes if you want to be paid for them.

Still no statements of sales so further dishonesty. I urge anyone who still has consignments left at CSD to withdraw them as it is highly unlikely they will be paid. This corrupt company must close and answer to the courts.

I really wish I had read the reviews before consigning with this company. Like many others, I’ve been trying for over six months to get updates about my items, only to receive vague excuses and be passed between different departments with no real answers.
I even visited the store in person, hoping for some clarity, but no one seemed to know anything. I was given a phone number for their office—which doesn’t even work.
At this point, they’ve completely stopped responding to my emails. It’s incredibly frustrating to see them actively sending promotional emails and hosting Instagram lives while failing to communicate with customers about the status of their items.
Very disappointing experience. I would strongly advise others to avoid.
Do not give your goods to them, I have given my old bags a year ago to sell via consignment they give no correspondence of what’s been sold and when you go to shop they pretend they don’t know anything and give numbers that never answer
Thieves that will take you’re goods and money
Avoid
Better go to vestiare collective where everything is transparent and instant payment
CSD dirty cheap robbers
Avoid at all cost - company owner and his son are the “accounting team” and does not pay out. Nor respond to emails.
They sold many items for me, but I’ve had to nag over and over to get payed. At one point CSD owed be thousands of pounds, and it took forever, a lot of headache, and a lot of effort on my end (including threats to involve legal action) to be payed out. Now it’s only around 500 GBP left, but the items sold in September 2025 and they are still unresponsive. The staff however are very nice and try to help, but it seems to not work.
If you are considering selling used luxury items find a different store. So many bad reviews and it all revolves around the exact same problem; payouts. I myself have switched to Loop Generation. Highly recommend as they are super professional.
Terrible experience. I am still waiting to receive almost £3,000 for items sold in November 2025 - I have phoned and emailed so many times and yet no one replies and there is no response. It is really disappointing and I am still awaiting payment. They are also in breach of their contract terms, I don’t understand how they expect their business to work if they don’t pay the people who give them items to sell.
Horrible experience! Absolute scam. Would not recommend anyone to use CSD Consignment service. They are impossible to reach. Don’t pay out. I had someone from their team come to my home and collect a lot of items worth thousands. Have asked several times for updates on what has been sold and for payout without any response. Now 2 years later I am still trying to get any update. This is theft.
Please avoid this company, they sold my bag in January and despite numerous calls and assurances that their team are looking into making the payment nothing has come through.
Sometimes the phones are answered but mostly not, when you do get through it is the same answer 'we will look into it, we will escalate for you' - so far nothing.
Sadly, I am one of a long list of very disappointed consignment providers. I trusted CSD with a lot of high quality items in 2025 and am still waiting for an account update on items sold (as they confirmed several times via email when I wanted my items returned due to non payment) and payment for items sold in autumn 2025. The outstanding value of the items is over GBP 5000 but I have no transparency as to the amount the items were actually sold. All I know that for those listed as sold the actual dates are ficton (as I tracked the website). Small claims court - as suggested by some leaving a review - likely the best way forward. Proof in form of the consignment report is the base.
Had they treated me fairly, regular consignments would have been certain
I similar to others have been waiting for the sales team to provide me with my sales information. I consigned several items with them in 2024 and they all sold. OUTRIGHT THEFT!! After continuous chasing and demands to have my items returned they told me they had sold. I am still waiting for the details and to get paid. I have been back and forth with them and they always say they are asking the sales team for the information. This is outright theft!! DO NOT CONSIGN THROUGH CSD!
The company collected my items from me back in October 2025, and since then I have received neither payment nor any meaningful update. Communication has been almost nonexistent — weeks without replies, and when they do respond, it’s with the same generic phrases about “checking” or “reviewing,” with no real progress.
Based on my experience, they are not assisting sellers at all. They take the items but never follow through with payment. This situation has become unacceptable, and I am now forced to consider legal action and pay legal expenses just to resolve an issue that should have been straightforward. I will not let this go.
I am fortunate to travel to London every spring, and CSD is a required stop every time. Each time, I've left with a treasure. Brand new Loubs, Chanel booties, 2 gorgeous dresses that fit like a glove. Soon to be featured on my IG page dedicated in part to my consignment finds. The staff is delightful and incredibly helpful. 100% recommend.
I have had an extremely disappointing experience with CSD Consignors, particularly their head office operations. While the in-store staff are consistently polite and helpful, this does not compensate for the complete lack of accountability and communication from the central management team.
I have consigned more than 10+ items with them. Never once have they paid on time. I have chased for a drip feed of payments and it all completely stopped last July 2025. I am still waiting for a payment for items sold over a year ago now.
CSD is very efficient at accepting consignors’ clothing and selling items on their behalf. However, when it comes to returning proceeds or providing basic follow-up, their responsiveness is severely lacking. I have sent multiple emails over an extended period regarding payment owed to me for items that have already been sold, yet I have received no response whatsoever.
As a consignor, this is deeply concerning. The business model appears to rely heavily on individuals dropping off clothing and then not having the time or persistence to chase what they are owed. I would strongly caution others not to assume that payment will be handled promptly or transparently without active follow-up.
Do not be reassured by the terms and conditions alone. In practice, they offer little protection if communication breaks down. At this point, I am still owed both goods and money, and unless this matter is resolved imminently, I will be pursuing formal recovery through small claims court and legal representation.
I would advise anyone considering consigning with CSD to document everything, monitor sales closely, and be prepared to actively pursue payment. Do not rely on goodwill or assume professionalism behind the scene. Like many other consignors, I am left without any money or any of my beloved items. Please do not consign with them. You have been warned.

I consigned an item which was sold almost 4 months ago but payment (£850) has not been received despite multiple requests. I have now been forced to pursue legal action to recover funds.
Terribly unresponsive and unprofessional! I have had a number of items listed with Csd since 2024. I have been trying to get in touch with them since January 2025, via email, calls and visited their Marylebone shop a number of times. Throughout a period of over a year, no one can update me on what has happened to my items or where they are. I would strongly advise against listing your clothes and bags with this company!
Update 27th March 2026
As you can see from my review, my name is Elisabeth, not Frances. I have sent you the claim submitted to Small Claims Court earlier this week on email. Please respond there through appropriate channels.

Yet again, I have not been paid for items that were sold over two months ago. I have written numerous emails to CSD and keep being told that I will be prioritised and paid, yet still have not received payment.
I now have to take legal action.

Had a great experience today with Hargun and Irina. They were friendly and fun made great suggestions.
