THEFT

THEFT, SCAM, CON, LIARS, They have not paid me for 2 items sold over 3 months ago. They sold another item and have not even added the sale of it to my account. Avoid this company.

CSD is a dishonest company and treat its consignors as fools!

CSD is a dishonest company, not trustworthy and treats its consignors as fools!!
CSD may seem legitimate, with very nice clothing and accessories, but it completely lacks respect, professionalism, and honesty towards its consignors, whom they don't pay without fighting. It's a constant exchange of emails, with polite but vague and sometimes identical responses, which leads nowhere when it comes to payment for the items consigned and sold. Like many others, I've been trying to get paid for several months, and I'm still waiting... Don't be as naive as I was, read reviews, and don't consign anything with them!It is a scam!!

Do not consign with this company!! Fraudulent and Unresponsive

Do not consign with this company! I sold multiple items with them for substantial amounts of money but have not received payment on several large items yet. I have been chasing payment for at least 6 months now and have sent over 30 emails with either no reply or an automated reply. I am extremely frustrated, and would never consign with them again, it is not worth the anxiety and emotional distress. Their actions are disrespectful and in breach of their contract. Not to be trusted!

Do not consign with this company

Do not consign with this company, I have been chasing a payment for a bag I consigned with them for 2 months now. I have sent multiple follow up emails and they have been extremely unhelpful.

DO NOT CONSIGN WITH THIS COMPANY

I have been waiting over one year to be paid for items I consigned with CSD. I frequently attempt to chase for payment and get met with an automated "apologies we will look into this further" response. I am at my wits end. I even wrote to the owner of the company on LinkedIn. Needless to say he also ignored my message. I am owed hundreds of pounds in back dated payments and I am aware that CSD are doing this to other customers also. Proceed with caution. Do not trust this company to pay up. I am considering issuing a CCJ imminetly.

Does CSD care about its customers?

I have already given a review for my last visit. Which seems to have fallen between the cracks. A dress returned without the belt. A Prada blouse unreturned despite a request, confirmed via email, and still nowhere to be seen. Marleybone staff are wonderful. Seems the backroom admin is letting them down.

DO NOT USE CSD

I was selling two items with them and chased this summer as it had been a year and they hadn’t sold to my knowledge, only to be told that in fact they have sold and I will be getting paid. I was never told how much they sold for, I still have been sent no proof of sale and have not been paid despite chasing three times over the past 6 weeks. I’m now panicking because I really need the money from selling my items! I am on maternity leave and have just been made redundant - it feels incredibly cruel to take high value luxury items and not pay your sellers. DO NOT USE CSD.

Appalling sham company

Appalling sham company! I sold shoes in July after a very bad customer onboarding experience and have not received payment over 2 months later. I email multiple times a week and 9/10 they just ignore me. When they do bother to reply it feels like a copy and paste holding email. I wish I’d done more research as the reviews are awful. STAY AWAY!!!!!

I still haven't received the money for…

I still haven't received the money for 2 items which have been sold back in May 2025.
they do not respond to emails and keep making excuses up. Dreadful
I have gone through this with the team at csd when they have responded and then you wait a few weeks and are ignored again. i have been contacted last week following stating i was doing this review but i have not heard anything since.

Getting paid is like getting a tooth extracted .

I have been a seller on Consigned Sealed and delivered for over 2 years . Almost every time when I’ve sold an item I have to call and write emails to them to try to get a payment made .
On their website it says under the how to sell section ;
Selling Made Simple …. You’ll get paid usually 2-4 business days after your items are sold and the 14 day return window has expired.
I have been waiting over 3 months to be paid and a month ago I received an email to saying ;
They are currently processing statements and payments this week and next week.
We thank you for your patience and want to get this resolved for you.
I am still waiting to be paid !

The only way I got paid was after weeks of emailing, having to engage a solicitor (expensive and time costly) they sell your items and don’t pay unless you threaten legal action. A headache all around, there are better and more honest places to take your pieces too. Do better CSD.

PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY!

I entrusted this company with my item to sell, but after the sales were made, I was never paid. I have tried contacting them by email and phone, but I’ve been ignored or given empty promises that someone would ‘get back to me’ — which never happens. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Avoid this company at all costs. Please see previous reviews before mine, they show a clear pattern of behaviour.

BE AWARE THAT CSD PATCH OVER BAD REVIEWS WITH FAKE POSITIVE ONES.

P.S. CSD only paid me after I posted reviews on Trustpilot and sent them a final warning, as I was ready to take them to the Small Claims Court. It took 2.5 months to receive my money. I will never deal with this company again.
