I have been using CSGOEmpire daily for a long time and have never once complained about a lost bet, even though I’ve lost thousands of dollars on the platform. I’ve always considered the site reliable — until this week.
I tried placing a bet, and the market instantly disappeared with a “no market available” message. The bet never appeared under My Bets, and when I refreshed the page, my coins were still there, so I naturally assumed the bet hadn’t gone through. Later, when I logged back in, my coins were suddenly gone and had been placed on the match — without the bet ever showing up for me at the time I placed it. That is the entire issue.
When I reached out to support, instead of getting help, I was met with some of the most disrespectful and unprofessional responses I have experienced on any gambling platform. The staff dismissed everything I explained, twisted my words, and repeatedly implied that my story “didn’t make sense,” essentially suggesting I was lying. They ignored what actually happened on my screen, refused to consider even the possibility of a UI error, and spoke down to me throughout the entire conversation.
“None of your story makes sense”
“We won’t be discussing this any further”
“There is no evidence of any issues”
So I am indirectly being accused of lying by this employee named “Commander”.
In the end, they refused to escalate the case or even discuss it further.
This experience has completely changed my view of the platform. It is impossible to feel safe using a site where loyal customers are mocked, dismissed, and treated with zero respect when reporting a genuine issue. Losing money is one thing — being spoken to like this is something else.
I will not be using the platform going forward.
If the company chooses to resolve this properly at a later point, I will update this review accordingly — but based on the current handling, the experience has been extremely disappointing. Text me if you want screenshots of my chat with the support - it’s hilarious and very sad at the same time.

To address the main claim directly: we're not denying the possibility of a brief visual issue/glitch when the bet was placed. However, a visual glitch doesn't affect whether a bet is actually submitted. In this case, you intended to place the bet, the bet was placed successfully, registered in our system, and later settled as lost.
The bet remained open for a period of time, there was activity on the account while it was still active, and support was only contacted hours after the bet had already been settled as lost. There was no report of an issue while the bet was open.
Refunding bets purely based on reports made after settlement isn’t something we can do. If that were offered, anyone with a losing bet could simply claim there was a bug and get a refund, effectively betting with zero risk.
We’re always willing to investigate genuine issues, but decisions have to be based on evidence. This is the only report of such an issue we've received, and we haven't been able to reproduce it ourselves. As for the bet itself: you intended to place it, the correct odds were offered at the time, it was accepted normally, and it could just as well have ended in a win.
I understand this isn't the outcome you had hoped for, but we do not intend to refund this bet.

We don’t have any control over steam bans, and valve has recently been targeting high-volume, for-profit traders for what they consider “commercial use" since that's against their tos, so that might be what happened in your case.
We haven’t seen any reason to think regular users are at risk when trading on empire, but steam does whatever they want, so it’s always good to keep that in mind.

This site used to be good and fair as they always say but now in 2025 they just scamm people... you can also see it on their reactions like have you been scammed? It was not scam you are just unlucky, do not go to the casino and expect win.. so they whole system changed from fair to fraud and they are not even trying to hide it anymore.. everybody who says it is scam it really is, you can win like 1-2 battles but after that you go straight row of loses to zero.. and it happen to almost everybody I know who used to play that site with me and we all stopped finally after we saw what they are doing here.. You do need to wager them once over if your funds came from FIAT or crypto deposits and you're withdrawing to crypto, we aren't an exchange, if you want to swap funds around then I'd suggest using a licensed exchange in your country.
