5 stars for instore customer service at newbury hambidge road, the floor team were brilliant after an issue with an online order, that hadnt been delivered for my pick up date, products were competitivley priced, only improvement that needs to be looked at is the online ordering and instore sharing of information, i understood it that they are running on different software which made it less fluid than it needed to be when going instore for collection as they couldnt find my order and had to call the customer service number, after a phone call and some advice all resolved with out any issues, will be using for again for indoor and outdoor tiling needs

The CTD guys in Newbury have been excellent with timing, communication and assistance with my orders. The advise on areas I’m less familiar with has been invaluable. Also, value for money compared to B&q is excellent. Thanks guys!

Highly recommend CTD Tiles
Highly recommend CTD Tiles, came to them from Johnson tiles to order our tiles for our bathroom. Never actually got to go in and meet the team but contacted through calls and emails. They were really helpful couldn’t ask for more with finding and matching the correct tiles that I already had. Fast delivery from there warehouse and easy collection.
One of the best tile shops out there with staff that give 100% to helping and getting everything correct

Cameron & Sean were extremely helpful yesterday when we came in to choose some patio tiles. They had to manage our disappointment in not being able to offer stock on a few of their tile options and knew a lot about fitting options, the use of tile fitting accessories and how to lay them. Great range of tiles, good advise from the Newbury store, thank you.
I purchased some bathroom tiles which arrived quickly and was quickly refunded for the 6 tiles which had broken in transit. All good would defo use again.

Helpful information
We popped in to CTD Newbury on 19 February 2022 with lots of questions as we are planning to get our bathroom completely changed. Steve and Sean couldn't have been more helpful and informative, and I suspect we will be in touch with them soon when we or our installer need to place an order. Thank you for your help which was much appreciated.

CDT 0 - 1 Amazon no contest based on customer service
We ordered a tile trim that was out of stock, but as we needed it before the tiler was finished we agreed the exorbitant £12 delivery on a £3 item to get it in 2 days.
We went back several times but no sign of it, they appeared apologetic for the delay, but nearly a month later they called to say it was ready.
I could not believe they insisted the express delivery fee was to be paid!
They are the best advert for using the online sellers who would have been quicker and cheaper.
I use bricks and mortar retailers to support them, but in this case fair not dealing fairly with your customers drives them away.
Sorry CDT, you lust lost another customer.
UPDATE
CDT called to ask that I change my review, specifically two points, just because the items they display and offer for sale in their store are not in the store, this should not be considered as “out of stock” because a supplier somewhere has them, just not CDT. Also CDT apparently did not charge me any delivery fee, when I paid the delivery fee to CDT they say they just pass on all their supplier fees to the customer. So they are just acting as a collection agent for the supplier. Note the delivery was to CDT not to me, I was the one who had to go to CDT to get my order.
How can a bricks-and-mortar establishment survive like this.
