Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with unexpected charges, particularly after an initial small payment for a service. Customers frequently reported unexpected subscription fees, often around £49 or $50, which appeared without clear notification. Reviewers also expressed frustration with the pricing structure, feeling surprised by the initial low cost and the subsequent high subscription charges. Some people also felt that the company's website did not clearly communicate the subscription terms, making it difficult to understand what they were agreeing to. Additionally, a few customers found the product quality to be poor, noting that enhanced images were often unsatisfactory.

Used this to change images to PDF's for 10p which was great but seems that they put you on a subscription for £49.60 without telling you. So avoid avoid avoid.

This is a scam!

This is a scam!
Scammers based on Hong Kong
All I wanted was to remove a background from a photo for my son's football ID. This was satisfactory and I was charged 10 pence. I then discovered I had been charged 2 payments of £39.96.
I went to the website. Clicked on "my subscription" and it said in didn't have one.
There was no customer service/help option on the homepage. You have to click on one of the AI creation options, then scroll to the bottom to get an email address.
I have emailed but I think I know the response I will receive

SCAM

SCAM! avoid this site at all costs. I wanted to enhance a photo and came across the website which seemed to charge 0.10p for the download. There was absolutely no warning of their subscription service despite their terms and conditions stating ‘ We will disclose all pricing details clearly before any payment is made.’
They then attempted to take £49 from my account the following day. I did not input my card details to pay the initial 0.10p but used Apple Pay, so unsure how they were able to take the further payment. Thankfully after sending trust pilots reviews to my bank they have blocked the payment requests.

Attempted Apple Cash payment of $49.00
Today, "Ctoolai*w+18888688954" attempted, but failed, since I fortunately do not leave excess funds in Apple Pay. This followed up on a $ 0.10 payment that I authorized yesterday for a single photo enhancement attempt.

I uploaded an old family picture that was really blurry and thought maybe it could improve a little. What came back was way beyond my expectations. The faces looked clearer, the details popped out, and the whole photo felt alive again.

This is a Fraudlent website

This is a Fraudlent website. I was charged for what i didnt susbscribe too.

I only make a payment of 0.10 for removing background image and the next day i saw my account been charged £0.10p then £49.90.

I have made a report but they are insisting on refunding me with 50%, I didnt make any subscription to this website why should i get only 50% back.

I have insist on my total 100% money and they are telling me its going to be from a higher management to approve and might take 7 days.
It doesnt took them 7 days to charge my card without my consent or my approval but its going to take 7 days for higher management to decide if they will refund me 100%.

This is a total fraudlent act. Please this type of websites should be taken down from internet. They are full of scam.

SCAM

Company is clear and simple a blatant SCAM. 10 cent trial AI image creation, results mediocre at best. I move on with my life. Next day they hit my account with a $50 charge. Luckily it was declined because its a burner account that I keep empty just to use on shady internet stuff. Over the last month, they have attempted transactions totaling over $1800, at small increments of $20-$30 at a time from various spellings of the company name.

Be very aware!

Be very aware!! I used these to retouch an old photo on my phone to look new. They took 0.10p out my bank via google which was fine, however, the next day they attempted to take £49.00! I blocked it with my bank and noticed they'd signed me up for a pro subscription without informing me what so ever.

Web site called Picmagic.co (asso iated with Ctool.ai) charged me .10 cents to enhance an old photo. Then next day charged me $49.90 monthly subscription without informing me. I called the bank and they said since the transaction is still pending they cannot intervene until it is posted. The bank gave me a 888 number to call, which was disconnected. The next day I logged into my ctool account and cancelled my subscription. Ctool issued a credit of $24.90. The enhanced photo was of poor quality. I will call the bank again to recover the remainder of the unauthorized subscription.

It's a scam, AVOID

It's a scam. They charge 10p for a service in order to get your details and then sometime later (30 days in my case) they change £49.90 to your card
