The worst car rental company i have seen in my whole life. This people have no clue about customer service and their cars are completely inadequate to be on the road "UNSAFE". If you value your own life and safety avoid renting any CUBAN CAR.
I have rented a car from 2/4/2020 to 12/4/2020 in Havana from Cubacation paid in advance.
Since the trips were canceled due to corona the company reimbursed the full amount of the rental (paid in advance) now at the beginning of June 2020.
This indicates a commitment to the clients. Definitively, the day I will travel to Cuba I will use the services of this company.

We've rented a budget car at Cubacation with automatic transmission. We chose Hotel Deauville in Havana as a pick up and drop off point, but when we came by it turned out that the car was not waiting for us (the agent place is upstairs, on the first floor). We had to wait about 30 mins to clarify what we should do. They found my voucher record but said that I have to go to airport and pick up the car there. Fortunately, they (the agent at the hotel) have fully compensated taxi to airport and the airport fee of picking the car up at their parking (+20 CUC). As promised it was Renault Sandero. The car condition was 3 of 5 -- with a lot of small scratches, wheels with different rims, without rear wiper, incorrect setup of right side mirror, and small issues in the interior. In general the car goes well, we did ~1400 km with it without significant problems. The car has USB for charging and Bluetooth for music (although the sound quality is total crap). We've dropped it at the hotel as negotiated before and I've got my deposit back (150 CUC) without any problem.
