Responsive and helpful for travel plans but needs better help on the ground

Very responsive and helpful in organizing the trip. I would not schedule a late evening at the Tropicana the night before an 8:00am pick up for a full day trip out of the city.
The tour guides were all very punctual and pleasant. The were not, however, very knowledgeable and could not answer many questions about the location we were touring. A couple of them rushed us through the day to finish early. This is especially true for our Hemingway tour where the guide skipped some place in order to rush through our tour to finish early. He did not give us very much information at any of the stops we did do, he sat with the driver and chatted most of the time.
The guide for the full day tour of Havana tried to get us to finish an hour early and I had to pull out our itinerary to show him the ending time we paid for. He blamed it on the driver so I am not sure what was happening. He also said that we should buy cigars at a certain place he took us to that was much better than at the tobacco plantation and cheaper than anywhere else, which turned out to not be true.
All of them spoke good English and we could communicate easily.
The hotel should be rated 2 stars and not 4. There were cockroaches in my room and in the next one I was asked to move to. The manager of the hotel said it was Cuba and not much he could do about it. The restaurant would run out of some food at breakfast time. I saw a waiter drop a fork on the floor and then use it to set up a table. Concierge service was average at best with little follow though by some.
No one answered the phone at the desk or anywhere except the money exchange sometimes. The elevators are broken and dangerous. I was lucky to get in and out of one of them without getting crushed within 5 seconds of the doors opening. The buttons for the floors on the panel are totally broken and I took many rides up and down past my floor until I could get the light to stay lit for my floor.
Music and entertainment in the lobby area was very nice.
My recommendation is that Cuba Travel network is that they become more aware of the issues of a hotel they recommend to book. Please have tour guides with more knowledge and less worried about ending the tour early.

The experience with Cubacar was quite satisfactory

The experience with Cubacar was quite satisfactory. After my visit the day before the rental itself to make sure all was ready, they arranged some minor changes in the plan with good efficiency and were quite helpful any time, comprising the return procedure, which I anticipated a bit for personal convenience. I can recommend this agency for rental car.

Attentive and professional service

Attentive and professional service. taking the time to listen to your needs. Could add more special accommodations to their portfolio of slightly mediocre state owned properties.

Cuba is Well Worth a Visit / Our Thanks to the Cuba Travel Network

The Havana hotel we booked for our for our first three nights in Cuba (Beltran de Santa Cruz) had "a problem" with our room, so they had a staff member take our suitcases to another hotel (Meson de Flotas) , also just off the Old Square and run by the same group. The second hotel was not quite as nice , as the room was a bit dark, they had a flamenco show each night (it ended early) and its safe's batteries were dead. The lack of a safe was no real problem as crime rates are very, very low in Cuba-we just locked our passports in our bags. The staff of the Meson de Flotas was also quite good, with excellent maid service!

Our casa particular in Trinidad, owned by a medical doctor, was in a central location on a nice street and a real value at 45 CUC. Fantastic breakfasts and a very clean room with a private bath.

We spent one night in a high-end hotel just off the main square in Cienfugeos. The hotel was excellent with good food, but we would suggest just stopping in this relatively new city for lunch, as there is little to see there in contrast to Havana.

Back in Havana we were given an large suite at the Hotel Beltran de Santa Cruz. The staff was excellent and we highly recommend this hotel.

We have two respectful suggestions for the tourist industry in Cuba-with a focus on Havana:
We know that the United States made life very difficult for the Cuban people, but if you want more tourists from the USA, it is time to drop the 10% penalty on dollars when exchanged for CUCs.
On that subject, there need to be a few more places to change your money. The lines at the airport were very long, as were those in Havana. Trinidad had just one bank we could find open to change money, and that took about an hour-after we got in the door. To be fair, it was a Monday when all of the store and restaurants were bringing in deposits, but only one teller of seven was allowed to make change.

Also, there might be an increase in animal services in the area of the Old Square as it was sad to see a very sick dog there for several days.

Last to the people of Cuba-thank you very much for your warm reception and help whenever we needed anything. It was a great trip.

Thank you Oneida! Cayo Levisa - we loved it for the third time

Oneida Aguiar was very helpful and competent. Thank you for all your help and the perfect bookings.

About the Hotel Cayo Levisa...

Positive: Great place to stay, the bungalows are beautiful, food and drinks for cuban relations excelent. Beautiful beach.

Negative:
There is no place with music in the evening for dancing. (Lucky we brought our UeBoom and Salsa Music with us.) Our friends wanted to take some dancing lessons. But the dancing teacher was very unmotivated and lazy. He came too late and went after a short time. Next day, he wasn't there. We allready were at Cayo Levisa last year, with a motivated animation. Zero points for the guy this year!

with your agency I had reserved for the …Hotel Sueno Cubano

with your agency I had reserved for the hotel Sueno Cubano at 135.14 euros in Havana vieja, but when I arrived at the hotel I found it was an hostel. So I payed much more couse I wanted an hotel in the first place, but I in the end I payed for a "casa particular" and for a double price than the average prices of hostel in Havana. I'm very dissatisfied for that. You should pay more attention for your customers

Dear Dario,

Thank you for sharing your comments on our services. Your feedback is very valuable to us.
We are really sorry to hear about your disappoint, We consider Sueño Cubano as a Boutique.
Their prices are almost the same for being a premium casa particular.
In our website we described as a house, not as a hotel´s building.
