Ridiculous customer service.

Bought a new kettle and toaster less than 2 weeks ago through my bluelight card. Toaster used 3 times and now tripping out my fuse box. Contacted Customer service who ask me if I've checked the fuse.. Have I toasted something with currants or raisins which might get stuck and fuse it. Have I emptied the crumb tray. You couldn't make this rubbish up! Still ongoing but utterly unimpressed so far.

Good customer service

We bought a kettle in a lovely shade of green as no other make matched my kitchen. After 2.5 months the base of the spout was leaking badly. Following exchange of emails, proof of purchase and photo evidence they quickly replaced it. I personally cannot fault the customer service and hope this kettle continues good service.

coffee maker made in China performs poorly

The first coffee maker quit working before its 3 year warranty expired. the company replaced it with a new one which also quit working before its 3 year warranty was over. They offered to sell me a new one at a discount since they said the warranty was expired. The product which is made in China is inferior at the price and the company's not in the business of giving good warranties or honoring them.

The carafe on my Cusinart DCC4000…

The carafe on my Cusinart DCC4000 coffee drip machine has broken twice now. The latest one, a DCC4000CRF with purchase price $49.99, lasted only 30-35 days since it arrived. I’m wondering if the glass they use is just too thin (it looks very thin). Customer Service was neither knowledgeable nor empowered or inclined to make any decision to help.

Just Horrible Customer Service!!

Ordered a part for my Cuisinart Grill back in October/21. A picture of the product I ordered is below however they just sent empty rollers minus the skewers which can't even work without the skewers inserted. Response from Cuisinart says they don't actually have the full piece to send even though that is what they confirmed I ordered, so they issued me a return label to send item back.
They confirm return of item back early November but have never issued refund. The response to my inquiry about the refund started with excuses and now their emails don't even make sense. Below is a copy of the latest correspondence.

Cuisinart compact air fryer is a lousy product.

i HAVE BEEN STRUGGLING WITH CUISINART COMPACT AIR FRYER WITH FOOF STICKING TO BASKET AND VERYHARD TO CLEAN. Contacted customer service and they don't bother to make a non-stick basket for this size air fryer! So basically they are ignoring those of us who have a small family size or are a one person household. Thanks a lot for nothing, Cuisinart. In addition, the desigtn of their air fryer is annoying because it doesn't have a handle on basket to pull out to shake or flip food. Have to use tongs and then mits and very awkward with high risk for burning your hand. Ridiculous design, do I'm going elsewhere for my small kitchen appliances from now on. What a waste of money on a lousy product. I bought three of these suckers. One for me and one for each of my kids. Bah, humbug!

I purchased a Cuisinart Dish Drain. I hate it. The spoon, fork, knife holder always falls off. It slides, but, always falls off. I don't even use the dish drain anymore. I'm trying to convince my husband not to glue it.

Terrible Australian after dales service

I have been in conversation with Lorna who is apparently the only person who deals with orders within Auatralia.
Paid for a replacement bowl and lid for your mini chopper and didn’t get a receipt nor did I get the replacement part. Left numerous messages on your consumer contact line with no answer. Emailed with regard to your poor service, lack of receipt & No item.
Finally received a recipient via email.
Still no replacement bowl and lid being mailed out. Apparently there was a bowl and lid that was mailed out before but got ‘lost’ in the mail. I do have an Australia post account. Whenever an item is mailed and scanned out to me - I do receive an alert with delivery details.
Tried to have a conversation with Lorna this morning re terrible service and to escalate this - No escalations as there’s no one else who I can deal with.
Apparently they are flat out (understandably with just one person working there for the whole of Australia - according to Lorna) and what with Covid and ‘S**t’ going on (Lorna’s words) I was told I need to put up with this or get a refund. Awful after sales service and terrible attitude.
Guess what - I just contacted consumer affairs instead.

Great warranty

A 2016 bread machine had some issues. Customer service was great and replaced the bread machine and later sent me a better one (which I've had no issues with in 2 years of use). Highly recommend.

I purchased a Cuisinart Air fryer and…

I purchased a Cuisinart Air fryer and toaster oven TOA-60 and within a few months the toaster and broiler knobs were stuck and would not work. I am very disappointed as I have purchased other Cuisinart products before and never had any issues. I contacted customer service and they replaced the product but I do not expect this replacement to be any different.

Wanted date of purchase, ss and model #, Andy copy of receipt, hard to figure out ss as hidden. If I then qualified they would send me new toaster once they got my old one and they approved. But. Send me the little part they say it is not available. Go to website to post review, all but impossible

Cuisinart Air fryer& lack of service BIG disappointment

Cuisinart Air fryer: baking pan after 2.5 years is very shabby & disgusting after light use & proper care. They refuse to replace - want to charge. Warranty is for 3 years - they say my serial # is older than that - which means vendor stocked old product, & they aren't responsible for "cosmetic" problems. This after having me chase around to prove ownership & brand - they would rather argue than provide customer service.Also disappointing that one call only cook small parts of a chicken like wings - shelf is very narrow and larger pieces burn before it's completely cooked. Poor design.
I have many of their products over the years - NEVER again. When I bought a new food processor, they "neglected" to tell me bout a blade recall until I suffered one disaster after another - & had to go through the same song & dance proving I had their product. I am old & vision impaired & they do not make one's life easy! Buy another make! Their small appliances get increasingly shabby & lack production fine tuning.

Wine cooler

I bought my wife a $429 32 bottle wine chiller for Christmas. It's 9 months later and the fans stopped working. Contacted cuisinart and was told that they won't do anything due to the product being discontinued. Called and emailed multiple times and they literally won't do a thing. It's not even a year old. They then proceed to tell me they will give me 20% any single item I desire. Are you kidding me. You offer a 3 year warrenty and don't even honor it. Stay away from this company if you can. They make nothing but garbage, disposable, crap!

Cuisinart coffee maker bad design

We purchased a Cuisinart DCC-3400 coffee maker with the thermal carafe. Everything works, but the carafe is poorly designed so it has to be turned almost completely upside down to pour when it is less than half full. Customer service replied they could replace it with the same carafe, so that was pointless. They don't offer refunds and told us to return it to the store where it was purchased. We will try that next.
This is poorly designed, Cuisinart does not care, and I wonder why no one else has mentioned this problem.

Brewing Problem

My wife and I received a Cusinart SS-15 Series as a Christmas gift in December 2020. After set-up we used it in the 12-cup mode with the permanent filter for a 6-cup brew on a daily basis. Over a one month period the unit clogged up six times. I switched to paper filters and over the period of another month it worked better but still clogged up two times, They have an Operating Notice in their instruction book regarding this matter. I believe it is an engineering problem because I removed the "brew pause" feature from the basket and the unit has worked well with the permanent filter for six months. We just have to wait for the brew cycle to end.

Cuisinart Professional Ice Cream maker - lots of issues

I had to contact the customer service several times regarding the Cuisinart Professional Ice Cream maker as I’ve had so many issues with it. The customer service were quite good at resolving my issue and always came back with a favourable solution. I have only given 3 stars as I expected a better product for the price I paid I.e. £250.

Cuisinart Ice Cream maker not repairable.

My Cuisinart Ice Cream maker has stopped working. I couldn’t find anywhere online that repairs them so I emailed Cuisinart. This was their response.

Poor protection from burning with these Oven Mitts

Oven mitts are supposed to protect your hands from burning when in use, typically for taking roasting tins, ovenware in and out of the oven. However the manufacturing and material used is so substandard they will fail to protect you after only a few weeks use. Whats even more disappointing is the response from the manufactures Cuisinart. No apology, no offer of replacement, no "Please return them so we can identify the problem" no nothing, nada, zilch. I'm not surprised now reading of their shocking attitude to customers in the reviews on this page. So my recommendation is to avoid this company and their products, there are plenty more companies with better products, responsibilty to their consumers and a more caring attitude to customer care and satistfaction. Take your custom elsewhere.

Unreliable ordering and delivery process

I clicked to order a blender, and after clicking purchase immediately realised I hadn’t been shown delivery options and the delivery wouldn’t arrive in the needed timeframe. I instantly rang the company to cancel the order, as it was still being processed. I was told they have no process for this and even though my order won’t even be prepared or dispatched for several days there is no way to stop it. I have to have the item delivered and return it before I can even start waiting for a refund. I made a large purchase and am now having to wait around two weeks for my money back. I don’t blame the customer service people as this appears to be a fault with the company process.
