Easy to use
Easy to use, after using Samsung wallet for many years I was delighted to see that curve app is very easy to use and with my phone I don't have to open the app to use contactless.
Non-existent customer service
Non-existent customer service: 8 support requests over the course of 5 months, no response.
Terrible customer service
Tried to sign-up but didn't have my passport to complete. Went back next day when I was home and it had locked me out.
Said to contact customer service which I did and despite repeated follow-ups got no replies from them.
If they treat potential customers like this then think there would be little hope for people they have already got signed up
Good product, poor support
Enjoy the product itself and the functionality of the app (although it is prone to bugs) but some of the customer service departments (not all) are shocking. Real ‘computer says no’ attitude and they simply refuse to escalate to senior staff for call backs, which is infuriating - just as bad as talking to a bot that won’t transfer you to a human.
Drains battery…
I really do like curve but im having to uninstall it as it drains my battery supper quick. Ive used it for many years and did not have that problem. But recently they asked to verify with id and since then it drains my battery. I uninstalled it and battery is fine. I installed again and same thing it would start draining and it would show its curve that was draining it not other apps so back to uninstall.
8 weeks later – still no data, no answers
I raised a formal complaint with Curve nearly 8 weeks ago and, alongside this, requested full transaction data and copies of my live chat transcripts.
While Curve issued a final response to my complaint, they failed to provide the additional information I had requested. Around the same time, my account was also deleted, which raises serious concerns about transparency and record keeping.
I was then informed that a Subject Access Request (SAR) had been raised on my behalf. However, this has still not been fulfilled within the expected timeframe. Since then, I have sent multiple follow-up emails, most of which have either been ignored or met with vague responses stating that the request is “complex”.
At this point, it feels like unnecessary delays and poor communication rather than a genuine attempt to resolve the issue. For a financial services provider, this lack of accountability and failure to provide requested personal data is extremely disappointing.
I would expect far better in terms of customer support, transparency, and compliance with data protection obligations.
This matter has been raised with the financial ombudsman, but I wanted the information to support my complaint.
So simple, so efficient, such a great concept
So simple, does what it says on the tin, and facilitates ring payments beautifully. Didn't realise you also got a hard card as well.
You still refuse to pay a vendor for…
You still refuse to pay a vendor for what was entirely your fault. You made me jump through hoops to verify my ID (I mean far beyond the usual) but you ASSURED me that it was done. Then you APPROVED a transaction at a London restaurant, but later I was told it was declined BECAUSE l FAILED TO COMPLETE VERIFICATION! And you won't go back and fix it. So, I can't trust you, and certainly won't ever rely on Curve for European travel again
Loving Curve
I registered with Curve in Jan-26 to make use of of Curve Fronted to pay HMRC. Registration was very easy and I took advantage of the Curve Pro free trial. HMRC were paid and I got 1,500 Avios. Nice.
Downgraded to Curve X subscription after free trial and used Killer FX in Austria. More Avios!
Now in Caribbean, still no FX charges, more Avios and getting Cashback too, so the card has more than paid for itself and my friends will be applying when back in the UK.
Customer Service have been very responsive, so not sure why the reviews are not great.
BTW I’m not a bot, just a satisfied Curve customer.
Non existent customer service
Non existent customer service.
My card was declined and then blocked for no given reason. When I raise the matter in the support app i get the same response namely that I will be contacted and that the matter has been resolved”escalated”. With EVERY charge card I have had resolving this takes no time at all but not with Curve. I would strongly recommend people to stay away from this so called service.
The company is dead
This company were killing it and I loved it for a couple of years, now its dead - the card doesnt work half the time irrespective of underlying bank, all payments are blocked or troublesome, and support is completely non-existent. I suspect they are about to fail. I have cancelled my subscription.
And theyre not fooling me with their new, brief 5 star reviews - bots.
I love it love it love it love it love…
I love it love it love it love it love it.
Great card idea. UTTERLY abysmal customer service!
I had been using the card for a while without any issues, particularly liked the features on the app. In 2025 the service deteriorated massively where the card got suspended when I was travelling and reinstated a week later. It has again been suspended whilst abroad.
Their biggest flaw is their truly Abysmal customer service - there's no way to call them their messaging AI system is very basic and extremely slow. The actual customer account manager response are rare. They hide behind their AI systems and claim they have a small team to service their clients.
If you have a small team don't offer such a service to mass market. It's clear you can't handle the work load!!
Utterly useless service now!
Awful customer service
The card concept is great when it works.
I was away on holiday and my card was suspended on the last day. I contacted curve who asked if the transactions were mine, which I stated were. They escalated the issue but my card was still blocked. Not once when I was away was I asked to verify purchases in the app like I do in the UK.
Its now been nearly 2 weeks without the issue being resolved.
I've changed my default digital payment to google now and wont be going back to curve.
Never again.
Never again !!!
Honestly, this is the worst customer experience I've ever had in any kind of service so far!
I'm a Pro+ plan user (the highest plan they have) and I've been using Curve for more than 3 months, then while making a payment to my account in an official trading platform that I use regularly, the payment got declined and my account got blocked with Zero information and Zero support for weeks (to this date).
Many tickets opened, emails sent, calls, and still nothing, no information about what happened or visibility on when it will be FIXED. The only emails I get are automated ones saying "rest assured" and that someone from support will get in touch, but nothing. This situation had a big negative impact on many business related purchases that got delayed due to the card no longer working.
And even better.. I Can't even cancel my subscription no matter how many times I reach out support, so I keep getting charged for the subscription with my account being blocked!
What a joke...
i think this company is about to…
i think this company is about to shutdown! i can see all the points that leads to it , emailed and created a case for over a month and no response
Verification fails, No Support
I’ve been unable to complete verification for over a year, with the same issue repeating again this year. I’ve submitted my passport, completed NFC checks, and recorded the required selfie video, yet the process keeps failing. Support has not responded to multiple emails. Hoping this review prompts a real human to step in and resolve it.
