Costco service is degrading

Costco sells their roasts 2 to a pack although I know that few people use two Eye of Round roasts in one month, but at least you can freeze one.

Their steaks are usually packaged 5 per pack, which only works if you are a family of 5 or 10. 4 or even 6 would break down better.

What has changed is that they will no longer break down a package of 5 and give you 4. If you don't want 5, they say, we can't help you.

I wish I could rate 0 stars

I wish I could rate 0 stars. I will not be renewing my Costco membership after this experience. It has been over a month since a placed an order for two pillows (one of which arrived). I have had to make 3 calls now and still have no resolution. I have not received the other pillow even though a replacement order was placed 25 days ago. I have never experienced this level of incompetence from any national retailer. I have learned my lesson and will not be supporting Costco in any way going forward. I would honestly really like to get my Costco membership refunded since I wont be shopping in store anymore either.

I would like for her to be given recognition for her Excellent Customer Care Service. Thank you. Sincerely, Anthony DellAquila

Worst ever delivery service by UPS

Ordered a samsung tablet and given ETA of next day, ie Thursday, door to door delivery by UPS. Thurs evening checked track update and delivery delayed to Friday. Checked Friday evening and again delayed to Monday. Monday afternoon got message from Costco item DELIVERED. Checked the UPS status myself and it said "Ready for pickup", not really delivered. No indication how and where to pick up. Tried signing for UPS updates few times but could never succeed submitting. Checked Google for UPS locations and called UPS depot in Milton few times before someone answered and confirmed parcel ready for pick up. The UPS truck did not deliver and l have to go pick up the item myself. BTW, UPS never deliver to door especially if it is for apartment.
Very frustrating dealing with UPS delivery and worst ever delivery experience for me. Should have ordered from Amazon same price, which deliver door to door as promised with regular updates of expected arrival time. Even Temu's delivery is more professional and very good.
Very disappointed and frustrated dealing with this Costco online delivery thru the worst unreliable delivery service by UPS.

White Glove delivery service can turn into a UPS Nightmare

I was told that I was getting the "white glove" delivery experience. I was actually getting UPS, but no one told me. And I ordered it online in the store with Costco staff assistance. No one was paying attention when the order switched to UPS. I don't shop at Costco, but have a card and decided to take a chance. Apparently because the appliance was not considered large enough for the "white glove" service (it's a 90 pound small fridge), it got moved to a UPS order. I didn't realize the "white glove service" was actually a UPS order until I started getting notifications from UPS. After UPS changed the delivery date up to 4 times and refused to give an ETA (I had to babysit Costco and UPS all day), I was told by Costco, it would be "dumped on the street." Great. A refrigerator on the street in an urban city. I'm 4'11 and can't move the fridge inside on a set of stairs. It was too late to change the delivery date. Everyone says, "Use Costco. It's cheap." The money I spent taking the day off and paying someone to move the fridge inside my home, install it, and haul the old fridge away was a Home Depot/Lowes price. NEVER use Costco. It's like a trick. Cheap always has it's hidden fees.

Costco is Sadly Overrated. The Shopping and Support Experiences are Abysmal

I always heard that Costco was a great place to shop and so this year 2026 I purchased my first membership. First of all, the guy that signed me up lied to me about the cost of the membership and I was charged more than double what he told me. Secondly, their online and app-based shopping experiences are all different and completely disjointed and likely don't even meet any accessibility or usability standards. So anyone who relies on being able to shop online- people with disabilities, limited mobility, elderly people, busy parents/guardians, agoraphobics or people struggling with PTSD or severe anxiety- is left out completely. Didn't be fooled- I certainly was. Costco does not actually care one single bit about its customers, or "members". This is painfully evident in their customer experience design. Avoid. I am beyond disappointed and will not be renewing my membership. When Costco starts considering ALL of its customers, maybe then I'll think they're a decent company to give my hard earned money to. Until then I strongly recommend not falling for the hype. Not worth it.

I purchased a 75 inch tv and paid ANGIE thru the COSTCO website to install. They ruined my wall, the tv ripped out of the wall and it's been a year of lost photos, emails and quotes of which they're never satisfied. This ANGIE company has slow walked my claim and even turned my claim over to their law firm. It's now one year old and even Costco is less than stellar when fixing my claim. Just as a recent example: ANGIE AND COSTCO are now asking me to go back to my latest quote contractor and list how much they're being charged to drill/fix each hole! CAN YOU IMAGINE...IT'S LIKE DEALING WITH CHILDREN

Appalling Customer Service

I purchased a Ninja coffee machine on the 05/01 for my sons 30th birthday present . On arrival it was found to have scratches on the front and one of the words rubbed off. I immediately contacted Costco who said that I would have some form of resolution in 48 hours . Nearly one month on repeated emails ,( around 5) and roughly the same amount of phone calls ,I have finally been offered £40 compensation to basically go away! I have very reluctantly accepted just because I'm sick of this dragging on . The emails from them all say basically the exact same thing and take typically 4 to 5 days to respond and even then it's like they have been copy and pasted . The most frustrating thing is they said I couldn't have a replacement because I paid on PayPal , that's a first for me !
In store Costco customer care has always been phenomenal but online is another story altogether . Suffice to say I will never buy again from the website

Pokemon collectors boxes

Ordered 2 pack of collectors boxes of Pokemon cards. The box arrived with the product inside damaged. The plastic wrap and the sleeve covering the boxes were missing. The box was damaged and it was apparent someone had gone through both boxes in the set.
Customer service did nothing to resolve as this item is non-returnable. Worthless as a collectors item now.

Do not trust their delivery dates!

Do not trust their delivery dates!
I expected better from Costco. My online order for a microwave was scheduled for delivery two days ago. I made sure to be home to accept the package, but the date came and went with no delivery and no notification. I am still waiting today (the 29th) with no information on when it will actually arrive. If you need an appliance by a specific date, look elsewhere. Online shopping should be convenient, not a guessing game.

I tried to view items on Costco next and the website said my Costco number wasn't valid. It works every time I go to Costco and buy something. I called customer service and I was told I have to link a credit card with a established account. I told them there is too much fraud to let them have my credit card linked to a account. I said if I buy something I will give them my cred card number. They said nope have to link my card to view and buy online. I will buy elsewhere. Won't ever be treated that way. Terrible customer service.

I do not know how long should i wait for the right doors sent to me to fix it. It almost 2 months and i had to wait for back order for the part to come. I am very disappointed to this kind of service with the big logo of Costco.

SOFA FAILED DELIVERY

If you live in a tenement building then do not order from here. They deem your building to be unsafe to deliver to, despite their website promise. I bought a sofa to be delivered. The men arrived and refused to take it to the 3rd floor even though their website states they deliver to the 3rd floor. Still waiting on communication of how they are going to deliver this. I would not buy anything from them online as every query takes at least 48 hours. Promises of getting back to you don’t materialise. Now sitting with no sofa and no communication of how they are going to deliver this and a large sum of money out of pocket. I would seriously not order any items online. Absolutely abysmal customer service compared to in-store. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I am now almost a week on with no resolution other than a refund. The customer service is the worst I have experienced in my life. I would never ever use Costco online ever again. Shambolic treatment of their customers.

Avoid costco online all costs

Never had such a terrible online shopping experience. The customer service team are nothing short of a joke. Do not buy anything online from costco unless you want 0 customer care and support. The customer service team say they will help and solve issues and get back to you in 48 hours but never will. Im stuck with a faulty £280 item. Never again.

Unauthorized Charge & Forced Delivery – Costco

Unauthorized Charge & Forced Delivery – Costco

I ordered a 10-gram Argor gold bar from Costco on December 12 and cancelled it the same day. The refund was completed on December 15.

However, on December 15, Costco charged my card again for $1,499.99 without my authorization. I did not place a new order. I reported this as an unauthorized charge to my bank.

On December 17, FedEx delivered a package without requesting my signature. The signature on record is not mine. Costco later demanded payment and threatened collections, even though I did not authorize the transaction and offered to return the item.

This raises serious concerns about payment security and forced sales.
I do not trust Costco’s system and am sharing this to warn others.

Delivery was fast but otherwise unimpressive

The delivery team was fast - setting things up at an almost frantic pace. It was impressive and they communicated to me the items I would need to do before using each product to make sure everything worked properly. I was disappointed they couldn't help me move my old fridge down the stairs even after I did the work of taking the doors off. I ended up moving it halfway down the steps myself as they were leaving. They said they were under pressure to get things done fast (23 min. Per appliance), so under those circumstances I totally understood why they passed on taking on the project of moving the old fridge...but once I got it all ready to go and they were still around setting up my new washing machine (I ordered both to deliver the same day) it would've been so easy for them to go the extra mile. In addition I was told that moving the old appliances out or to another area of the house was part of the deal, so my expectation was not met. They also left my house a complete mess with tracks all over the floor. I didn't expect premium service, but I thought they might make a small attempt to wipe their feet or lay down something on the floor before tracking everywhere. Though speed and efficiency are impressive and they hit the mark there, the other elements of service - treating the customer's home with care and going the extra mile when it's easy to do so go a long way to creating an experience that the customer will love. Without it, my review is just "eh, mediocre at best"
