I ordered from this company a couple of weeks ago - the keycaps I ordered arrived very quickly and were really high quality. I did have an issue with a couple of keys so I emailed the company to see if they could help - the owner of the company got back to me very quickly and organised a complete replacement with an upgraded set of keycaps that had just come into stock, free of charge.

I tend to judge companies on how they respond to issues and, on that basis, Customkeycaps went above and beyond and I won't hesitate to order from them again - thank-you!

I’ve placed a ton of reviews over the years in restaurants, places, stores, products, it’s something I really like doing however when it comes to a bad review or an experience that I wasn’t satisfied with, it pains me to grade something terribly because I understand that someone’s livelihood depends on said product or service with that being said I would like to offer my honest review about custom keycaps co uk. The product arrived in a very basic packaging and the keycaps were super lightweight not properly double shot PBT and were the poorest of quality. I could see the cast break point on the bottom of each cap and they were sharp on the edges. Once I installed them on the keyboard it was super hard to take them off damaging one of my switches and cutting my fingers in several places. Inside the box was just a key cap puller from AliExpress possibly it seemed really cheap and poorly made, also it didn’t get the job done. I couldn’t remove keycaps with it. It broke! The keycaps didn’t arrive in a case they arrived in a bag and the colours were pale, not well saturated and overall they were terrible of quality and look and finish. They have the weird texture like a cheap hard plastic toy from the 2000s . Overall aside from the fact that I was able, after like 6 to 7 emails, to communicate with the owner of this business for a refund which was successfully given, I wasn’t satisfied with the overall quality service and feel of the product. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to try this or buy it no matter how tempting the pricing may be. You can buy something cheaper and probably better quality from a Chinese supplier like AliExpress or Temu even. 1/5 because of the refund otherwise 0/5

You know what, reading the reviews after ordering i was a bit worried that it would not turn up, and to my surprise it turned up its an excellent mouse pad, covers most of my desk, it is not too big and not to small and the print on the mousepad is good as well. I was looking for a mousepad like the mouse pad company ones, but I wasn't paying $30 for shipping to the UK, and this lives up to standards, highly recommend

Awful company. Ordered a set of keycaps and selected UK sublegends. Initially a responsive member of the team let me know of issues relating to “heat transfer” not knowing what this was I stated I was not bothered about heat transfer. I only asked for UK sublegends in a UK layout.
After a week or two I received the keycaps in US layout and format, some of the keys do not even fit on the keyboard.

Responsiveness of the team once I raised my issue declined, apparently because I stated I wasn’t bothered about heat transfer this meant I was okay with the US layout?

Take your money elsewhere - icing on the cake, the keycaps sound awful compared to my previous set

Bought some 75% custom keycaps from this website on the 1st December, payment went through but was never dispatched, gave it good 5/6days before I contacted them via their website with no answer followed by an email directly to their email address 2 days later still no response, followed by a DM to their Instagram page on the 9th still no response. I have finally put a claim in through Paypal to get a refund as the seller is not willing to respond to emails nor send the keycaps to begin with.

One of the worst experiences I had buying anything on the internet. Waited for these for over a week to finish my new keyboard but never arrived. Would not recommend to buy from here.

IF... it was an issue with it being December and being away on holidays etc. Could have done with a disclaimer stating that orders wont be sent, but no nothing about delays or anything. Just lack of communication or well product..

Had an issue with colours not being selected properly they sorted this quickly amazing service.

When the key caps arrived they were not a good UK layout at all I had to use a number 4 instead of # and my right shift keys were all too big for my keyboard in general the UK layout was not UK and did not fit my UK keyboard I have been able to use other keys that my keyboard doesn't needs as placeholders.

Some of my keys like caps lock are not as transparent in the top (as they were double shot) I would have expected them all to be correct.

Keys are overall good quality from what i have used so far.

They do not reply to emails, stay clear the keycaps look bright and amazing on their site, however they are washed and pastel and really cheap quality. They only let people put positive reviews on their site.

Honestly if you are building a custom keyboard save yourself £20 and go to keychron or even eBay.

The quality keycaps UK supply are the same as if you went to Temu, I actually binned mine as they were that bad.

The keycaps are good quality, the one issue I have is that I ordered the UK sub layout and it turned out that what that means is just that the 2, 3 and ' keys each has its UK symbol (", £ and @) printed on it beside the American symbol. I.e. it's just the American set with 3 extra symbols printed on it and it looks ugly. Also, the \|, `¬ and #~ keys are missing completely, I had to resort to using these three keys from my old keycap set which makes my keyboard look super weird. I chose this company specifically because the description of the product mentioned my keyboard model and offered a UK layout, so I assumed I'd get all the keys, but in the end it turns out I could have just ordered any ISO set and put some UK stickers on it, and I would have got a similar result.
After a few weeks of ordering, I received an email inviting me to review the product, so I wrote the above review and after I submitted it, it didn't show up on their website. But since I've already gone through the effort of writing it, I'm posting it here on Trustpilot.

Don't waste your money on prioroty recorded deliver. Their website claims your order will be shipped 1 / 2 days after order, this isn't the case. You'll end up paying extra for delivery that will take exactly as long as normal delivery. I ordered my item on wednesday and received notification of it being shipped on saturday. Monday is a bank holiday so my order won't arrive until Tuesday.
I even reached to the customer service email and received a generic response.

I was looking for some custom keycaps, so naturally in my research I came across these guys. It was my first time changing out the keycaps on my board and I loved the colours but I was looking for a specific vibe. Sent over an email and Ethan was super on board with the idea, kept me in the loop and listened to me, and after not a whole lot of hullaballoo I ended up with the set of my dreams, basically! Colours are just as I imagined, style is perfect, they're comfortable to type on (written close to 20k words on them for uni), they sound great and the size of where light that peeks through each letter is the perfect balance of brightness where they're just subtle enough to not be blinding but still big enough to be useful and comfortable - I literally couldn't be happier.

I ordered a custom set of keycaps from here for my first custom keyboard and I'm quite happy with the results. The keycaps are of a decent quality. I wasn't notified of my keycaps being dispatched, but I sent an email and got a reply almost immediately with an ETA. They arrived the next day.

I did have one small issue in that the set I ordered seems to be missing a pound + tilde cap so I had to substitute it with an incorrect cap of the right profile. In fairness, I'm using the GMMK 2 65% and the product page for the custom keycaps 65% / 75% doesn't explicitly list the GMMK 2 as compatible, so I won't hold this against them.

The only other thing I would like to see is a choice of fonts. The one used on these sets is clean but might be slightly too stylised for some tastes. A plain sans-serif font would be a safe option.

Ordered a set of keycaps 8 months ago and never received them. Customer support doesn't reply to my emails. Only when I requested a refund through Paypal did I get a reaction.

The refund request timed out because they said it could take up to a few months. But I never received my order.

Still there is radio silence from their side after sending multiple emails.

I love to support a small business and bought some excellent keycaps from these guys. They turned up promptly, were exactly what I wanted. Great packaging too. I will be recommending them to my friends and family
