I saw a personal profile page on…

I saw a personal profile page on facebook for Ryan Dixon. I thought maybe he was one of the owners etc. So I message him through facebook to have a conversation on his services. Asking if he was a tatto artist. Instead of a direct answer I go some BS reply noting they were a company etc. I Also suggest if a company they should have a page and not a profile.
So i basically replied and noted I could read and stated the obvious that I thought he was the owner etc. But instead I was told to go get a life.
If this is how you handle your customer base i want nothing to do with them and nor should you.
And after see the reviews, I was correct in the type of service this company would provide.

TL;DR Don't use this place

TL;DR Don't use this place, or any place that doesn't have a section for customer reviews on their site. Learn from me.

At first I was excited by the idea of a custom tattoo, but it quickly turned in to an annoying waste of time.

The first rendition of my idea was this horrible design that had very little to do with the specific idea that I had sent over. In the back and forth that followed, she asked me to design something then send it to her, which I did.

She then copied this super rough sketch I had made, added a few things to it and asked if I was satisfied.

It was at this point I realized the headache this was going to be and contacted the company directly for a refund which they refused to process on the account that my "artist" had done more than 1 draft.

In communicating with Jennifer Lovejoy, the Art Director for this site, it became quickly clear that she hadn't contacted my artist to cancel my order, she hadn't reviewed the interaction between my artist and myself, and she was more interested in repeating their company policy instead of looking at the situation in front of her and making an educated decision.

All in all a very frustrating experience and a huge waste of time.

Ironically if they had just offered a refund off the bat I wouldn't be here typing all this out. But they didn't and here I am.

Artist stopped responding, company refusing refund

So this process started great, the design team got in touch with me very quickly and got my deposit. I got in touch with my artist and was very excited to get my ideas drawn out. Unfortunately that's when the trouble started. My artist was very slow getting back to me after getting my ideas, I first thought "hey, he's creating art, I don't want him to rush" but a few days turned into weeks. When I reached out to the artist he apologized saying how swamped he was but my design was next. Within a couple days I got a design that really wasn't what I was hoping for, but hey, it's only a draft right? My notes were sent to him immediately after and then the same thing happened, another couple weeks rolled by... then suddenly I received what seemed like a rushed drawing, not taking all my notes into account. I thought once again, "hey this is a draft, this is art, it'll come together." Well I'll save you some scrolling this all happened a third time. After this third time I made a lot of notes and said I was satisfied with the draft but it still needed a lot of work. Now the real silence began... no news for almost two MONTHS.

When I reached out to customer service, (they first waited a week then redirected me to my artist) they claimed I stopped contacting the artist and "because we did not hear from you for so long your refund is no longer available." Well isn't that lovely? I didn't want to continue the process, I didn't want the sketches, all I wanted was my deposit back, you know the whole "hey you guys dropped the ball, do the right thing?"

Still have not resolved this issue, and I would caution anyone reading this to stay away from this company.

It's Fiverr, but not as you know it.

I've spent the last 2 months trying to get designs done, but the artists I've been dealing with were very inexperienced, lacked basic skills, were almost void of imagination, and had extremely poor English.

Basic requests were ignored, until I had to literally open the images in a paint program and point out what I wanted changed or modified. I even had to go as far as drawing out the whole tattoo design and outlay myself to show the "artist" the idea I wanted because he couldn't come up with an idea himself.

As for the company, they say they select artist's which are "chosen" directly for your particular design in order to "guarantee" you'll be getting the best experience available.

What I actually think they do, is choose the cheapest artist they can find in the hope they are able to get the job done.
My last "artist" told me that my particular project was the 2nd project that he's ever worked on. So that says it all. I mean seriously, the price they charge for designing tattoo's and they give me someone young and inexperienced.

Not acceptable. I don't recommend.
